Archvillain Resistance is an auto power on all Archvillain, Hero, Monster and Giant Monster entities as well as the applicable Elite Boss versions from a lower notoriety. It is responsible for the Purple Triangles on these enemies. The power is simply called Resistance and has no icon, but is documented in this wiki using the PvP Defense Buff icon.

Archvillain resistance provides protection and resistance against all mez except for Sleep and Immobilize.

Note: Monsters and Giant Monsters get 100 protection from status effects rather than 50.

Power Effects

This power provides the following resistances during its "triangles up" period:

  • 90.0% Knockup Resistance
  • 90.0% Knockback Resistance
  • 90.0% Repel Resistance
  • 50.0 Terrorize Protection
  • 50.0 Disorient Protection
  • 50.0 Hold Protection
  • 50.0 Confuse Protection
  • 50.0 Knockup Protection
  • 50.0 Knockback Protection
  • 50.0 Repel Protection
