A '''Premium Player''' is any non-subscription account holder who has ever spent money with [[NCsoft]] on [[City of Heroes]], either prior to going [[wikipedia:free-to-play|free-to-play]] or by purchasing [[Paragon Points]] for use in the [[Paragon Market]]. Premium Players do not have a monthly subscription, and thus are limited in their options within the game. [[VIP Player]]s whose subscriptions lapse turn into Premium Players.
