The first sentence of the page defines issues as "large game updates"; the original release was not an update, it was the original release, as written in the Timeline section. Listing "Issue 0" is also inconsistent with saying "there have been thirteen issues so far"; if you count the original release as an issue, there have been 14 issues. I believe this can be a source of confusion. I'm going to remove it, but I'm opening this section in order to gather opinions. -- Leandro 19:28, 18 December 2008 (UTC)

:::o.o the issue where what they decided to call the updates its true, but is we don't call the initial start of the game 0, how shall we note it? This isn't just about this page after all, we're missing the page that would correspond to i0 as well. @.@ issue 0 makes some amount of sense.. after all for CoH, all issue 6 was was 3 PVP zones, base salvage, and access to Villain side Base content (as it was restricted to ppl with CoV). Not having a page for the initial game build would mean we should apply the same policy to CoV.. --Sleepykitty 04:50, 19 December 2008 (UTC)
::: If it's a commonly used designation in the community, then I agree it merits inclusion but it should be clear that it's not an official designation. I added some text to clarify on the page, if anyone has a better phrasing, feel free to update it. I do agree with Leandro's main points that we don't list it definitively as Issue 0 because it's not a consistent name (as he explains) and it's not an official name. If we were to create an article for the initial release (which I think is sensible), "Initial Release" makes more sense as an article name than "Issue 0" to me. -- Sekoia 02:24, 22 December 2008 (UTC)

Chapter names of books?
- The names of the various issues have traditionally been chapter names of famous books.
The only issue I know of that corresponds to a book or chapter name is Through the Looking Glass. Along Came a Spider was a movie with Morgan Freeman, I think, but otherwise, I think it's just a reference to the old Little Miss Muffet nursery rhyme. I've never heard of any of the others in relation to books or chapters.
Am I missing something? If not, we should probably remove this note since it was just the one the referred to a book.

- "Through the looking glass" - Chapter 1 of Alice in Wonderland
- "A shadow of the past" - Chapter 2 of The Two Towers
- "A Council of War" - Chapter 12 of Treasure Island
- "The Colosseum" - Chapter 34 of The Count of Monte Cristo
- All I've found so far. I will continue the search. - Snorii 14:55, 22 March 2006 (PST)
- No worries, I just honestly didn't know. I thought they just made up cool-sounding names for each issue. --TonyV 16:37, 22 March 2006 (PST)
- I sent a pm to Statesman asking for more info and this is his response.
- "Yes. They're named after chapters in books. Can't say more than that...;-)" - Snorii 11:33, 23 March 2006 (PST)
- Also confirmed by Manticore awhile ago. My search-fu on "Along came a spider" isn't coming up with much, thanks to the movie with Morgan Freeman and the book by James Patterson. User:StarGeek/sig 12:27, 23 March 2006 (PST)
- Had anyone come up with the rest of them in the last year? Or at least Issues 8-10? TayJK 01:22, 25 July 2007 (EDT)
- Just a few searches tonight turned up the following possiblities (no guarantees that any of them are correct, though.)
- Forest of Dread
- Along Came a Spider
- Chapter 5 of The Science of Superheroes
- Forest of Dread
- To Protect and Serve
- Breakthrough
- Chapter 2 of A Fragile Relationship: The United States and China since 1972
- Chapter 6 of Agassi and Ecstasy: Turbulent Life of Andre Agassi
- Chapter 9 of 47 Down: The 1922 Argonaut Gold Mine Disaster
- Chapter 10 of The Bullet or the Bribe: Taking Down Colombia's Cali Drug Cartel
- Chapter 10 of On Armor
- Chapter 13 of Fredericksburg! Fredericksburg!
- Invasion
- Chapter 2 of Nibiru and Wormwood: An E-Book About Alien Invasion
- Chapter 3 of Hostages to Freedom: The Fall of Rabaul
- Chapter 4 of Strike and return : Flying from Iwo Jima
- Chapter 21 of On War
- (There's a list started on the Ingame References page, too.)

Issue 0
The article currently reads:
- Issues are large game updates to the City of Heroes or City of Villains game. [...] There have been thirteen Issues so far, with two additional Issues having been announced.
- Issue 0 - City of Heroes
I disagree with listing "Issue 0" here.
