So what does this mean? Getting the ball rolling

Thanks to whomever started this page up, I was going to do it today but you've saved me the trouble. To get things going, what should be included on this page? A full list of merit rewards for every TF and Arc would be very useful, but quite large. Should it be on its own page? Likewise a full list what you can buy with merits and the cost is useful, but should it be on this page or should the costs go on each IO's own page? --Weatherby Goode 16:10, 21 November 2008 (UTC)

I'd say both. --K26dp 17:32, 21 November 2008 (UTC)

Merits for GM kills.

Some, if not all, Giant Monsters also drop Merits upon defeat. I got either 2 or 6 merits (I can't remember which,) for killing Babbage in Boomtown. Perhaps someone has some more info on this? BlodFang 22:19, 23 November 2008 (UTC)

DR formula

We've got this line, "Repeating the same Task Force/Strike Force/Trial within 24 hours will lessen the Merit Rewards by this formula: 1 / (# of attempts), rounded down.", coming from the thread at [1], where multiple players who've tested it confirm that the way the devs said it works is not how it actually works.

So what does this mean? "Diminishing Returns on Taskforces, Strikeforces, Trials and Raids that DO give a reward option upon completion will always give 50% rewards for subsequent completions within the 24 hour time period." Is this a conflict, or is this a statement that the DR formula is different between tasks that always, automatically give Merits and tasks that give a dialog box choice between Merits and something else?
