End of the Line is an exploration badge for visiting the end of the monorail track in southern Boomtown at (-2658.5, 90.3, 4571.0).
On the day of the Rikti attack that wrought such devastation upon Baumton, this shattered monorail track was a scene of terror; one of many on that dark day. But as the four-o'clock train dangled precipitously from the rail's shorn edge, the nightly news reported the fate of the imperiled passengers minute by minute. Ultimately the passengers were saved by Lady Liberty and the Back Alley Brawler in a narrow escape as Rikti soldiers closed in.
Location
The End of the Line badge is on the tip of a twisted light rail track 476 yards southeast of the The Fuse marker, 533 yards due northeast of the Steel Canyon entrance. It is found most easily by following the elevated train line from the Steel Canyon entrance.
Its coordinates are (-2658.5, 90.3, 4571.0).
This pic looks back (southwest) toward the Steel Canyon entrance, showing the path the rail line takes from there to the badge.
