Overview

Rogue Arachnos is an enemy faction. They are commonly found in Warburg. Established as a splinter faction of Arachnos, they are actively opposed to the "softly, softly" approach taken by Lord Recluse, and support Marshal Blitz. Given the threat that the rockets of Warburg present to the world, the Rogue Arachnos faction seek to use them to their full capabilities as weapons. As a result, members of Arachnos are forced to choose: to support Lord Recluse and resist launching the rockets and thus potentially plunging the world into thermonuclear war, or to use them as the threat and leverage they are to bend the world to the will of Marshal Blitz?

These attack drones are used to soften up super-powered targets. Arachnos considers them very expendable, and as such uses them to record and monitor a threat's abilities before more expensive troops-such as Tarantulas or Fortunatas are deployed.

Crab Spiders function much like SWAT teams in other cities, and are dispatched to deal with high-level threaths like super-types. They're equiped with full body armor, larger weapons and a set of mechanical spider arms that turn them into death-dealing machines.

Widows who possess Foresight are resistant to Psionic Damage, as well as Sleep, Hold, Immobilization, Disorient, Confuse and Fear effects. Their precognition becomes clearer in times of duress, providing resistance to all damage types based on their current health, as well. They also have improved Defense, due to being able to see attacks slightly before they actually occur.

Mu Guardians pulse with the blood of their slaughtered ancestors in their veins. They have read unholy tomes, visited other planes of existence, and performed dark sacrifices too terrible to mention to become masters of the mystic arts.

Marshal Jason Blitz used to be the Arachnos Marshal for the isle of Warburg, one of the western-most Rogue Isles, and is today the de facto ruler of it. Marshal Blitz commands a contingent of Rogue Arachnos that took over Warburg and uses its rockets to threaten Paragon City.

Marshal Jason Blitz believed Lord Recluse wasn't acting fast enough in his bid to take over the world. He found it tragic that the Web had developed so many incredible weapons and none of them were being used on the hated heroes!

When Blitz learned he was dying of cancer, he decided to speed things up a bit so that he could live to see the defeat of Paragon City. He murdered Governor Melody Harkness and took over the city with a cadre of troops loyal to him. Soon after, he demolished the false faþade on the Warburg Rocket at the centre of his city and started firing warheads armed with various toxins at Paragon City.

Lord Recluse promised the UN he would rectify the situation, but his troops have so far been stalemated by their rivals. (or so Recluse claims.)
