Overview
Ice Armor is one of the standard power sets. It is a primary power set for Tankers and a secondary power set for Stalkers.
"You can dramatically reduce your core body temperature to form various armors of ice around yourself. You can protect yourself from many different damage types, and you gain exceptional resistance to cold based attacks. However, this set offers little protection to fire base powers and no protection against Psionics."

Chilling Embrace
While active, you dramatically lower the temperature around yourself, Slowing the attack rate of all nearby foes, as well as their movement speed and damage.

Energy Absorption
Activating this power draws moisture directly from the bodies of all nearby foes, draining their Endurance. Each foe you draw moisture from adds to your Endurance as well as Defense to all attacks except Psionics. The first foe you absorb grants the highest Defense bonus, and you can absorb up to 10 foes. In addition to Defense, Energy Absorption also grants you resistance to Slow effects. If there are no foes within range, this power will fail.

Frozen Armor
While this power is active, you coat yourself in rock hard Frozen Armor. The hardness of the Frozen Armor offers good defenst to Smashing and Lethal attacks as well as reduces Cold damage. Also, Fire attacks deal slightly less damage and you can resist Defense DeBuffs.

Glacial Armor
When you activate this power you cover yourself in Glacial Ice. The crystalline matrix of the armor has refracting properties that make Energy and Negative Energy attacks less likely to land, and acts as a lens to increase your Perception to see hidden foes. The bitter cold of Glacial Armor also reduces Cold damage and also allows you to resist Defense DeBuffs.

Hibernate
When you activate this power, you encase yourself in a block of solid ice, making yourself invulnerable, though you are frozen solid and cannot act. While Hibernating within this block of ice, you heal damage and recover endurance at an incredible rate. You can emerge at will by deactivating the power, but you cannot Hibernate for more than 30 seconds. If you activate this power while in the air, you will fall.

Hide
Hide makes you almost impossible to detect. When properly 'Hidden', a Stalker can pull off critical hits with his attacks, and even land a massive 'Assassins Strike' with an Assassins power. When you attack or are damaged while using this power, you will be discovered. Even if discovered, you are hard to see and retain some bonus to defense. Unlike most stealth powers, Hide can be used at the same time as other concealment powers, giving you even greater stealth capability. No Endurance cost.

Hoarfrost
Activating this power covers you in a thick layer of Hoarfrost. The frost can absorb the impact from enemy attacks, effectively increasing your maximum Hit Points for a short time. Hoarfrost also grants you resistance to Toxic Damage.

Icicles

Icy Bastion
You channel an intense cold through yourself. Doing so will significantly boost your resistance to all types of damage (except Psionics), your resistance to status effects, and your regeneration and recovery rates for a very brief period.

Permafrost
Your body temperature permanently lowers to 33 degrees Fahrenheit. Permafrost gives you strong resistance to Cold damage, and some resistance to Fire damage as well. You also gain an inherent resistance to Slow effects. This power is always on and does not cost Endurance.

Wet Ice
When you activate this power, you cover yourself in a thick coating of slick, melting ice. This makes you slippery, leaving you nearly immune to Disorient, Immobilization, Hold, Sleep, Slow and Knockback effects. This power also adds a slight increase in your defense to all attacks except Psionics. Wet Ice also reduces Cold damage and grants you resistance to Defense DeBuffs.
Historical
- This set has been in the game for Tankers since Issue 0.
- This set was briefly considered as a Brute secondary power set in the City of Villains Beta, but proved to counteract Fury.
- This set was proliferated to Stalkers in Issue 21.
