You overhear a song being played nearby in a foreign language - you recognize it as Russian. Looking nearby, you see it's coming from a small music box, dropped by someone. Examining the box, you see the figure inside carrying a small note...

Arachnos have finished the plans on the MK II Nullifier Gun. My plan was so far gone perfectly, but now I need you to retrieve said item, just as we spoke of earlier. I have listed the location of the base in Grandville where they have the specs for the new gun. Bring it to me and I will give you a portion of the money that Longbow is willing to pay to have the item back. Maintain radio silence until operation is complete.

You recognize the name Lt. Demitrovich - she is the Longbow turncoat in Nerva Archipelago - of course Longbow doesn't know that, but you know what side Demitrovich plays for - her own. It's fortunate that whoever was tasked with this delivery has...lost their way. It will offer you a good chance to take advantage of the situation. The amount of money Demitrovich is offering is pitiable - however...you could steal the schematics for the MK II Nullifier Gun for yourself...and give Demitrovich a modified version of it. Say...a modified version where the gun explodes upon activation

Of course, Demitrovich probably has much more money to throw around. And she has a lot of secrets too. Secrets Longbow would be willing to pay for. This could be the perfect opportunity to make some money by taking advantage of all the parties involved here.

Villain Acceptance

Briefing

You're not so interested in Lt. Demitrovich's payment for the new Nullifier Gun MK II. However, if she plans on giving the schematics to Longbow, you don't see why you couldn't...have some fun with it.

She wouldn't know, of course, about the additions you made to it - neither would Longbow, until their Nullifiers suddenly get a face full of fire when they try to use the guns. And then...who will Demitrovich blame? The villain who sold her the Nullifier Gun? Or Arachnos, who originally got their hands on the gun from Demitrovich?

You figure out that Arachnos is keeping the schematics inside of one of their bases in Grandville. While outsiders might think this would be an impossible task to handle, you know differently - it'll be all too easy getting inside of that base.

You'll have to try to get a video of Demitrovich's reaction when those guns begin to blow up.

Just another typical Arachnos base - you're fairly used to them by now. The schematics are in here, somewhere - probably poorly guarded at that.

You've got the plans for the Nullifier MK II gun. Looking it over, it should be simple to modify the gun to add that special Character touch to it.

Hollow Point's Nation

You found a datapad off of an Arachnos operative which detailed their fight against Hollow Point. It would seem he has gathered a surprising amount of followers for his army and has actually become a serious threat to some parts of Arachnos. The datapad notes some rumors that Hollow Point may even be in talks with Marshal Blitz about combining the forces of their two armies.

Briefing

Lt. Demitrocich is a woman who closely guards all of her secrets - from the villains she deals with in the Isles and from the soldiers she serves with in Longbow. You're sure that the people in Longbow would be very generous in their payment for outing a traitor in their group.

You're also certain that demitrovich would be willing to pay a good amount of money to keep her secrets safe. As long as she doesn't know about Longbow having the information until it's too late for her to do anything about it.

It's just a matter of tracking down the evidence to present to Longbow.

After doing some extensive research, you find out, to your dismay, that the one group who has all the information regarding Demitrovich's activities are...Malta. Of course. Looks like you'll really be earning your money today.

Then what are you here for? I assume this isn't a call to just say hello to me...

Lt. Demitrovich remains silent for a moment, her lips twisting in anger. She takes a breath, calming herself.

...I see. I suppose I should not be surprised that...Malta had this information on me. And that you now have it.

I can only imagine that if you're telling me this, you intend use this to gain some money from me in exchange for your silence, correct?

• That would be right. (Name your price)

...you ask for a steep amount, Character. But...I suppose it is worth it. One moment...

Lt. Demitrovich picks up her phone, making a call. The two of you stand in awkward silence for a few moments before a man in a duster hat arrives, carrying a suitcase. The man quickly leaves. Demitrovich hands you the suitcase.

This should have everything you need. And now..I would appreciate it if you would give me those documents.

• Sure, you can have this copy.
• (Hand her the copy without telling her about Longbow)

You give Demitrovich all the evidence to be used against her. She smiles at you, nodding her head.

I'm glad we could come to this agreement, Character. Perhaps now that you know of my dealings, we could work something out in the future. I could always use a man of your talents.

• Sure, I wouldn't mind that at all.

Lt. Demitrovich shakes your hand before she walks out of the base. She won't know that Longbow now knows her dirty secrets - not until it's too late, of course.
