Overview
Hide all graphics effects of a character's powers when the camera is closer than the suppressCloseFxDist. By default, hides the graphics effects of a character's powers when the camera is in first-person mode, otherwise the power effects are displayed. (suppress is 1 and the suppressCloseFxDist is 0.)
Note that this command does not affect auras created within the costume editor, and does not affect the display of other character's or NPC's powers.
Examples
The following image shows a character with his powers effects unsuppressed by the /suppressCloseFxDist command:
This image is the same character with the same powers activated, but with his power effects suppressed by using the /suppressCloseFx 1 command and a suppressCloseFxDist value greater than the camera distance:
