Overview
The Winter Event 2004 actually occurred in 2005, from January 12 through February 8. During the event, creatures from the Winter Horde spawned through Paragon City, and in-game treats in the form of badges and presents were available.
The Winter Horde
During the event, creatures from the Winter Horde spawned throughout Paragon City, including the fearsome Winter Lord. Defeating a Winter Lord earned a hero the Frozen Fury Badge. Defeating 100 of his minions earned a hero the Cold Warrior Badge. The Cold Warrior Badge became available once again during the Winter Event 2005, but the Frozen Fury badge remained unobtainable until the Winter Event 2006.
In addition, defeating a Winter Lord would earn a hero a special Present inspiration, and defeating his minions would earn a hero the Snowball temporary power.
