You had to read the legal documents over a few times, and you even gave the City Representative a second glance to make sure she wasn't an automaton, but everything looks legit. The Nemesis Army is throwing a parade this Sunday. This can only end in tears.

PREPARE YOURSELF... FOR BRASS SUNDAY... Sunday... sunday!

Ok... the flyers were annoying, but the bullhorns are little much. This is just ridiculous. Everyone is talking about the big parade that the Nemesis Army is preparing to unleash upon Paragon City, and everyone is angry about it. Freedom of Assembly your butt... Nemesis is up to something, and everyone knows it! While the heroes of the city theorize over what his real agenda is, you know that the time to strike is now. No matter how peaceful they may seem at the moment, they are still the enemy.

VILLAIN:I won't let you get away with this, Nemesis!

Briefing

Waiting around on Nemesis's terms is idiotic, you need to act now if you hope to stop the coming bloodshed. Laws be damned, you're going into that Nemesis Parade Committee's office and you're going to find out what they're up to. You don't think you'll find anything, Nemesis is too smart for that, but something has to be done. Anything! If you can't find suitable evidence, then you just might have to plant your own.

They may appear to be setting up for a parade, but you know that those Nemesis soldiers are packing firepower. Storming into a community office filled with them is not going to be a picnic. But nobody else seems to be stepping up, so it looks like it's up to you to stop the latest Nemesis plot before 'Brass Sunday' begins.

Unnecessary Solicitation

Nemesis is notorious for hiding his true motives. If you can't find any evidence to convince the heroes of Paragon City to stop the parade, then you'll just have to plant some of your own. Too many lives are at stake for you to worry about the legitimacy of your good deeds!

Mission Objective(s)

You can hear the clip-clap of boots on cement, the Nemesis soldiers are practicing for tomorrow's parade. If you have your way, then half of them are going to need crutches.

  • Defeat Instructor Moltke
  • Access the Nemesis computer system
  • Defeat Colonel Wilhelm

You successfully framed the Nemesis Army, ensuring that whatever their true plans were did not unfold. Innocents will certainly die, but you are certain that their deaths prevented countless more.

• Review parade plans

"Password Accepted"

The computer pulls up a fairly elaborate breakdown of the parade and all personnel in attendance, right down to the amount of confetti to be released. You see the parade structure, unit break downs, drills, and music for the event.

• Modify the parade plans

You modify the plans so that instead of what appears to be a standard parade rifle drill is instead a complex maneuver that ends in a two rank volley fire attack on the crowd. It is cleverly disguised and designed to inflict massive casualties on anyone stupid enough to actually be watching the parade.

• Print the plans

You print out the plans, fold them, and then erase all traces of your tampering with the plans. The last bit of information you need is to find out who is in charge of this ludicrous farce!

• Locate the commander of this parade unit

You review the unit's hierarchy and discover that Colonel Wilhelm is in charge. You'll need to plant the fake plans on his body, so that when his men find him they'll read the plan, assume it came from Nemesis, and adopt it as their true mission.

Colonel Wilhelm: There he is! It's Character! VOLLEY FIRE!

At 75% Life:

Colonel Wilhelm: My reactive armor has blunted your assault, Character! Even now my uniform restitches itself to repel your feeble attacks!

At 50% Life:

Colonel Wilhelm: Rally to me, men! Rally to me!

At 25% Life: Colonel Wilhelm's clockwork heart and lungs are keeping him alive!

Colonel Wilhelm: Ha-ha! Praise Lord Nemesis! My auto-heart and internal respirators have kicked in, there's no stopping me now!

Ambush! Nemesis Soldiers will ambush the player when Colonel Wilhelm reaches 50% health.

Debriefing

That went extremely well. The Nemesis Army will take the fake battle plan and carry it out in memory of their beloved colonel. When they open fire on the crowd, the assembled heroes will quickly neutralize them. Most importantly, whatever Nemesis was plotting will be foiled! Apparently not every Nemesis plot is actually his.
