Yeah, I think you're gonna be smooth sailin' down the coast with Splicey.
You've done a lot of hard cuttin' for us down here, Character, Splicey-gal's been chatterin' 'bout'cha. Says she's got somethin' real big she wants to jaw with you about.

Information

Resistance freedom fighter

From her broad smile and the splash of crazy in her eyes, to her dizzying speech pattern and signature pink PPD helmet, everything about Ricochet is memorable. She earned her name like most of the others do in the Crusaders: by how she got her first kill. In Ricochet's case, rumor has it, she let off a blind shot during her first engagement which ricocheted off of a PPD power field and ruptured a high pressure fuel tank. The resulting explosion took out the entire PPD squad, saving the lives of her comrades.

The other story is that the bullet ricocheted into her head.

Looks like we've managed to give Tyrant a tasty cup of punch, if you know what I'm saying. For now, we wait and see how he and his goldilocks are going to react. I'll let you know if I need any more of your help.

Justifying the Means

Part One: Lost in Translation

You ever mushroomed a badger den, slamcakes? It's a blast! Get it?

Stamp some wisdom, chomper, know what I'm sayin'?

Gah. Sometimes I just can't read your subtitles, chomperuskie.

Not my glitch though, you can work on your dazzle stars later, right now I need you to Johnny Appleseed these bangwiches around pleasantville without getting chomped or scamped. Can you dig that ditch?

...what?

Just plant the 'splodies around town and wait for me to ring-a-ding you. B-team might need your charity, know what I'm sayin'?

Unsolicited Contact

What's the flaw popper-rinsky?

Mission Objective(s)

  • Ask someone what exactly Ricochet said.

Briefing

Hey, Character, right? Good to have you on board, the name's Jack Hammer. You need something?

I need a hand, I'm trying to understand this woman, Ricochet...

Ricochet? Yeah, she can be tough to understand sometimes. What was it that she told you, roughly?

(Explain what Ricochet said)

Gah...I hate this Resistance talk sometimes, always making sure no one up top is understanding us.

What do you mean, Resistance talk?

Resistance talk, you know? Speakin' like you're a slammer, or like you saw someone get chomped. It's the way things go 'round here.

Well why do you talk like that?

Might as well tell an owl who you are and get on with your day. But I'll keep the talk simple for you since you ain't used to it yet.

...great. So what about Ricochet?

She want you to plant some bombs up topside. They're not real bombs - they're filled with poison gas. This is all part of our big plan. If Ricochet has got you doin' this, you deserve to know what's going on.

One of our boys, Rothstein, cracked the other day, saw his entire family killed by some Powers Division. He came up with this whole plan - we plant some nerve gas bombs around Nova, the PPD picks it up while also arresting him.

We have him bugged to see where they bring him and the gas, then one of us walks up on that place and springs the trap! Gas it all, send them PPD to their graves!

All this though is gonna be triggered by you plantin' those bombs. All clear now?

Crystal, I'm off.

Mission Objective(s)

  • Plant Bombs in Nova
    • Plant 3 bombs

You've got the bombs all set - now to get some help to B-Team.

Editor's Note:

Return to the surface, and the locations to plant each bomb will be shown on your map (ensure you have selected 'Mission Objective' in your map options!)

Mission Objective(s)

This seems to be the place where B-Team was sent in. Saving these members of the Resistance will ensure that they can spread more chaos and destruction around Nova.

  • Check in on Bravo Team
    • 2 Bravo Team members to rescue
    • Defeat PPD Sergeant Pell
    • Recover information for Splice

You got the data and saved Bravo Team. Return to Ricochet.

Debriefing

Way to snatch the cricket, sugar cane!

You really gave those golden boys a kick in the pantaloons and while they were seeing dandelions you snatched the honey and took off with the B's.

I'm gonna spit it, but only this once; you've impressed me, curly fries!

Marauder's planner? Yeah, old loner loo Splice was all grabby about oggling over it, spoke some jibber about it bein' the king's catch or somethin' like that, you know?

Take my tellerfone numbers, slammer. This way you can call me whenever you need to give an 11-7 to the Resistance. Know what I'm sayin?

Part Two: Robo Clean Up

Cleaner bot! Them's the bots we're lookin' for here. Our main boy Rothstein got himself planted deep in the badger pot, you feel?

So now we gotta make a pose and take a picture while we got ourselves a camerman, 'cept the only problem is them badgers got their vacuums ready to clean up any sorta milk we spill.

Splice got us a date to a dance with our bots, but I gotta ask ya to ditch the prom queen and go out there dancin' solo. You cool with that?

...I'm dancing with what?

You got this!

Ricochet points out a location on a map of Nova - a warehouse where the PPD keep Clockwork.

You gotta take your limo and park in the no parkin' zone, you dig?

Unsolicited Contact

You don't wanna be late to that robo-prom, slammer!

Mission Objective(s)

Piecing together what Ricochet said, you think she just gave you the location of a main storage warehouse for the Clockwork! Dealing with them should be easier than understanding her. Hopefully.

  • Destroy the Clockwork(?)
    • 2 Clockwork supplies to destroy
    • Destroy the Lead Mender
