I ooked at the history, you say "no need for both." If you just hide the spoiler, without the template, it's a boring thing that just says "Spoiler" and click to show. Don't we want to hide the spoilers? I notice that twice the spoilers hidden template has been removed. People might stumble across this info and read it if they're not careful. Forcing them to click is better, isn't it?
