Overview

The Summer Blockbuster Event features missions themed after two movie plots (Time Gladiator and The Casino Heist) that require unique tactics to succeed. It grants special badges, and players may choose a random enhancement from the Overwhelming Force set as a reward. Unlike essentially every other activity on City of Heroes: Homecoming, it has a fixed team size of four participants. Either heroes or villains (or both) may participate. In spite of the name, it is available all year round.

In order to participate, players form a team then enter the Theater Lobby instance via the LFG Menu interface. They always play both movie plots, but which comes first is random.
