Overview

D.O.O.M. are an enemy group in City of Heroes. These buggy creatures only spawn during the Dreaded Mapserver April Fools special event; they do not otherwise appear outdoors or in mission content.

Enemies spawned during the event have extremely high experience modifiers (1000% for minions/lieutenants/bosses/elite bosses, and 2000% for the Dreaded Mapserver).

Gremlins, much like bugs, are just as annoying but harder to catch, and sometimes compromise other things unexpectedly. A true mischief maker!

ElectricityManipulation ChargedBrawl.png Charged Brawl Melee, Light DMG(Energy/Smash), Foe Sleep, -Endurance, -Recovery
Your fists become electrically charged and deliver a powerful punch. Charged Brawl can drain some Endurance from the target and may overload his synapses, leaving him writhing for a moment. A portion of drained Endurance may be returned to you. Disturbing an overloaded target will disperse the electrical charge and release him.

The Havoc Punch is a slower attack than Charged Brawl, but makes up for it with a greater damage. Havoc Punch can drain some Endurance from your target and may overload his synapses, leaving him writhing for a moment. A portion of the drained Endurance may be given back to you. Disturbing an overloaded target will disperse the electrical charge and release him.

You are able to generate a strong current between your arms and snap a powerful bolt of electricity in an arc in front of you. This melee attack can electrocute all foes within the arc dealing High energy damage. Jacobs Ladder can drain some Endurance from your target and may overload his synapses, leaving him writhing for a moment. Disturbing an overloaded target will disperse the electrical charge and release him.

A massive attack. You smash your foes with all the power of a lightning bolt. The pummeled victim takes tremendous damage and may be Disoriented. Any nearby foes may be knocked down and take some damage from the shockwave.

This Electric Melee attack deals moderate Smashing and Energy damage and may drain some of the targets Endurance. However, this attack also induces an unstable electric charge that may jump to another enemy target. The charge will jump randomly between multiple targets, until it inevitably dissipates. Enhancements and Fury will only boost the effectiveness of the initial attacks, not the jumping charge.

When you toggle on this power, you are surrounded in a charged field that makes you highly resistant to Smashing, Lethal, Fire, Cold, Energy and Negative Energy damage.

When you toggle on this power, you are surrounded in a charged field that makes you highly resistant to Smashing, Lethal, Fire, Cold, Energy and Negative Energy damage. This Static Shield protects you from Hold, Sleep, and Disorient effects as well as Endurance Drain, Recovery DeBuffs and enemy Teleportation. Static Shield can also help normalize your synaptic activity, granting you good resistance to Psionic Damage.

The Dreaded Mapserver!

The Mapserver has been central to so many hero and villain defeats over time, that it's hard to believe it's escaped capture for so long.

It is the Alpha and Omega of supers world-wide... it's been there since the beginning, and will be there at the end. Some say it was already at the end, and is trying to accelerate to the end to save humanity the misery.

Powers

MartialArts ThunderKick.png Latency Kick Melee, Moderate DMG(Smash/Energy), Foe -Recharge, -Speed, LAGGING!
You can perform a strong Latency Kick that hits so hard it can Disorient your target with annoyingly high ping.

This ping will cause you to move slowly and make you powers take longer to recharge, or so it will seem to you.

MartialArts StormKick.png Desync Kick Autohit, Melee (Targeted AoE), Heavy DMG(Smash), Foe Absolute Repel, RUBBERBANDING!
You can unleash a roundhouse kick that pummels your foe for moderate damage.

Desync kick will cause you to rubberband slightly, which will make your position move unnaturally for a few moments.

The mapserver is attempting to reconnect to the DBserver, which is temporarily making it stronger!

You've been kicked by the mapserver! Fortunately, not kicked FROM the mapserver, but it still wasn't a fun experience.

This Disconnection Kick has disconnect you from the mapserver! This causes you to lose all control of your character for a moment while your client attempts to reconnect.

Somebody get a programmer! This kick has completed crashed the mapserver and its map instances and that's going to be a real problem for anybody impacted.

SuperStrength FootStomp.png Missing Beacons Stomp PBAoE Melee, High DMG(Smash), Foe Confuse, BEACONS MISSING!
Oh no... Somebody forgot to run beacons on this attack. If you get hit, don't expect things to work like they normally should.

The server is needing to spin-up a few additional instances, and you'd best back away while it's doing that.

Your Quick reflexes allow you to move faster than normal, as well as resist slow effects. This power is always on and permanently increases your attack rate and movement speed.
