Death Threat

Alignment Mission

You receive a threatening text message from an anonymous source.

Character,

Your kind has no place in the city. I have made it my duty to discourage you so-called 'rogues' from entering into my city. I'm going to make an example of Desdemona, then you're next Character. Villains like you never change!

Stalwart

Really? A death threat? You're trying to do a little good, and maybe line your pockets a little and THIS is the thanks you get. You think Stalwart's on to something though. However, instead of him making an example of you, you'll make an example of what happens to those that don't know their place. You also happen to know right where he'll be. Desdemona has been seen in a nearby cave system, he's likely going to track her down there. She could probably use your help, you hear hear he's allied himself with some ex-Longbow agents and they tend to go a bit overboard. This small time chump and his little band won't know what hit them.

HERO: Take down Stalwart and help Desdemona

If Stalwart thinks he can intimidate people such as yourself, he has another thing coming. You'll demonstrate what happens to those that target you and your kind.

  • Take down Stalwart and help Desdemona

People like Stalwart are no better than the villains back in the Isles. They push everyone around and strive for their own goals, and in the end no good is accomplished. Taking him out will be best for everyone. Besides, you hear that Desdemona is pretty close to some of Paragon City's heroes. She might be able to put in a good word for you.

Unnecessary Solicitation

You hear Desdemona is a pretty tough demon conjuror, but you don't know how long she'll be able to hold out against Stalwart and his ex-Longbow allies. It's best to get her before they do.

Mission Objective(s)

You hear the voice of a Longbow soldier barking orders. Something about a conjuration suppressor and a medi-porter scrambler. Uh-oh. That can't be good.

  • Stop Stalwart
    • Defeat Officer O'Reilly, Destroy the Conjuration Suppressor
    • Disable the Medi-Porter Scrambler

You prevented Stalwart from killing more rogue implants in Paragon City.

Clue
Codes to Medi-Porter Scrambler

Officer O'Reilly had some access codes to a Medi-Porter Scrambler on her. You'll need these to disrupt the scrambler. While it's active, both you and Desdemona are in deep trouble.

Clue
Conjuration Suppressor Destroyed

Destroying this arcane device would prevent conjurors like Desdemona from summoning her demon allies.

Clue
Disabled Medi-Porter Scrambler

It appears that it Medi-Porter was only set to a frequency that would prevent Desdemona from being teleported away. Good thing you disabled it, who knows what could have happened.

Debriefing

Desdemona was very thankful for your timely aid and swore to put in a good word for you among her new contacts amongst Paragon's greatest heroes. To top it off you got to teach Stalwart a valuable lesson, one you hope he takes to heart. Otherwise you'll have to teach it to him again.
