The end of this trial does not present a reward selection dialogue, and it does not reward from Pool D for completion. However, it appears that it might result in a 100% chance of a Pool B drop at completion; I recently ran this and I think everyone on the team mentioned receiving a recipe at the end, and the recipes were all in Pool B so far as I can remember. -- [[User:Sekoia|Sekoia]] 12:30, 30 June 2008 (UTC)

Aside from no longer needing to click the obelisks simultaneously, the strategy outlined here doesn't seem to be up-to-date. Last night when my team attempted the trial, the magmites continually respawned, making it impossible to clear out the cavern, and the trial didn't end when Wincott was freed - Koago still needed to be defeated (which we couldn't do, on account of the neverending respawns).

Clickables

I never knew until today that there was clickable items with in the cavern. I only saw the Journal after it was pointed out to me, and then later saw some scattered papers. I'll have to keep my eye out for more in the future. --StarGeek 14:30, 28 August 2006 (PDT)

Obelisks

For clickable items, the obelisks have an obscene range that you can click them from. The branch that I was in was the one that has a ridge overlooking the obelisk and a lake of lava with stepping stones across it. I was able to click the obelisk from the ridge, completely outside of the aggro range of the Circle of Thorns baddies that were guarding it. --StarGeek 14:30, 28 August 2006 (PDT)

Recipe Drop

The end of this trial does not present a reward selection dialogue, and it does not reward from Pool D for completion. However, it appears that it might result in a 100% chance of a Pool B drop at completion; I recently ran this and I think everyone on the team mentioned receiving a recipe at the end, and the recipes were all in Pool B so far as I can remember. -- Sekoia 12:30, 30 June 2008 (UTC)

Strategy in general - page no longer valid?

Aside from no longer needing to click the obelisks simultaneously, the strategy outlined here doesn't seem to be up-to-date. Last night when my team attempted the trial, the magmites continually respawned, making it impossible to clear out the cavern, and the trial didn't end when Wincott was freed - Koago still needed to be defeated (which we couldn't do, on account of the neverending respawns).
