Ghosting

  1. Refers to when a player enters an instance and then drops from the team, allowing them to affect enemies without changing the XP from other team members. They usually act like a guardian for the team members, protecting them in various ways as they progress through the instance. (Ex. Taunting enemies to keep Aggro, Healing and Buffing other characters, Debuffing enemies)
  2. Refers to the means by which a player bypasses most of the enemies in a mission by using stealth and other means.
  3. Refers to a Sync Bug, when a server gets out of sync with a player, and the player can see everything as it is happening normally, but nothing they say or do can be seen by other players.
