Most of the PUGs I've been in have been really good. Yes, a few have been spectacularly bad, but most aren't. Of course, my definition of a "bad PUG" is probably not the same as most people's. To me, accruing a lot of experience debt does not a bad PUG make. Some of the most exciting missions and interesting accomplishments I've been on have ended up with everyone in deep, deep debt.

To me, about the only thing that makes a bad PUG is being bored or when there's rude and obnoxious people in it.
