Winter Event
Winter Event 2007 is now live. Happy holidays! This years event adds to last year's with badges for the ski slopes plus the addition of candy cane salvage.

Issue 11 Release Date
Issue 11 has been scheduled to be released on Wednesday, November 28, 2007. The servers will undergo an extended maintenance period from 7:00am Eastern until approximately 1:00pm Eastern. Along with the new features and content, a free costume change token and power respecification will be given away. Check the announcement on the official forums for more information.
Paragon Wiki Move to Wikia Complete
A few months ago, we announced that the Paragon Wiki was going to be hosted by Wikia in the future. As you can see, that move is now complete! We still have the same great staff running things, but now we have a much higher level of computing and staff resources dedicated to making sure the Paragon Wiki is up and running well.

NCsoft Acquires City of Heroes Franchise
NCsoft announced today that they have acquired the City of Heroes/City of Villains games in their entirety from Cryptic Studios and are creating a brand new studio to house its future development and expansion. Members of the Cryptic Studios development team have been hired by NCsoft to continue development on the City of Heroes games and will relocate to the new NCsoft NorCal studio.
As part of this change, the following bonuses will be implemented:
- All players with accounts will have access to City of Heroes and City of Villains going forward. There will be no differentiation between the games for paid accounts.
- At a date to be announced in the future, a one-time elimination of all character debt will take place.
- Also at a date to be announced in the future, a one-time grant of 20,000 prestige per member will be awarded to all supergroups.

Wanted: Your Mad Writing Skillz (with a Z)
Want to contribute to the Paragon Wiki but don't know where to start? One good place to start is by editing articles that are designated as Stub articles and Work in Progress articles. These articles need anything from minor tweaks to major overhauls, and anything you have to add would be appreciated!
If you want to dive into writing some highly needed articles from scratch, check out the list of Wanted Pages. These are pages that are linked to from other pages but that have no articles associated with them. They are sorted by the number of links that point to them, so by filling in the articles towards the top of the list, you will be giving the most bang for your temporal buck.
