Information

Lawyer

Athena Currie is a young, driven attorny who devotes her time to providing low-cost legal aid to the poor. She's only been out of law school for a few years, but already she's earned herself quite a reputation. Most recently, she won a major lawsuit against a housing company that provided low income housing that failed to meet even the most basic safety standards. These days she's particularly active in anti-gang youth work, helping people extricate themselves from street gangs and remain legally protected in the process. Not surprisingly, this has made her some dangerous enemies. Fortunately, ther personable young lawer has a number of super-powered friends who're happy to lend her a helping hand when she needs it.

Stop the Clockwork assaults in Steel Canyon

Briefing

I'm getting some disturbing reports about the Clockwork activity in Steel Canyon. It seems they're no longer content to scavenge from the streets. Now they're assaulting any citizen who happens to be wearing jewelry, a watch, or anything else metallic. You've got to stop the Clockwork assaults in Steel Canyon.

You could try looking for Clockwork in Blyde Square or near Silver Lake. But I'm sure any neighborhood in Steel Canyon could use your help.

Mission Objective(s)

  • Combat Clockwork in Steel Canyon
    • Defeat 10 Clockwork

You have discouraged the Clockwork from assaulting people in Steel Canyon.

Debriefing

Thanks, you did a great job. Steel Canyon residents are breathing a little easier now.

Stop the Clockwork from producing more robots

Briefing

According to my sources, the Clockwork are using the old abandoned Zorihon Technologies office complex as a factory to churn out more of their kind. Can you stop the Clockwork from producing more robots? We have enough trouble keeping them in check as it is.

If we let those robots keep making more of themselves, they'll become a much larger threat.

Mission Objective(s)

Scattered flotsam from the dot-com boom litters the floor. With each step, worthless stock certificates and ISO forms crackle under your feet.

  • Defeat all Clockwork in office

You defeated the Clockwork.

Notes

  • After Gears has been destroyed, there will be three waves of Clockwork ambushes.

It's heroes like you who keep the Clockwork threat from spiraling out of control.

Rescue the scientists from the Clockwork

Briefing

There's been a Clockwork attack on the university campus! The engineering department was hosting a robotics seminar, and several of the speakers were kidnapped by those stange Clockwork robots. I need you to rescue those scientists from the Clockwork. Paragon City won't lose her greatest minds on my watch.

Watch out for the big Clockwork robot known as Copperknot. From what I understand, he's pretty dangerous.

Mission Objective(s)

A pleading voice goes totally unanswered.

  • Defeat Copperknot and its minions
    • 5 scientists to save

You rescued the kidnapped scientists from the Clockwork.

Clue
The dean's story

When you rescued the Dean of Engineering, he told you:

'This may sound crazy, but I think they wanted revenge! The five of us hold patents for the most advanced robots in use today. I think the Clockwork King is angry that we're receiving credit for our work, while he's regarded as a madman!'

Debriefing

So, the dean thinks the Clockwork King is jealous of the scientists he kidnapped. I suppose that makes sense. After all, the King has produced some of the most ingenious robots on the planet. If he hadn't retreated into villainy, he'd probably be given a Nobel prize!
