Template:Welcome/doc

This is a documentation subpage for Template:Welcome (see that page for the template itself).
It contains usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page.

Usage

This template should be subst'd for proper usage:

{{subst:welcome}}

That will place the contents of the welcome message on the user's talk page. The message will autosign itself, so you do not need to manually add -- ~~~~ at the end.
