Qualifications?
Not sure where else to put this discussion. I found a user (User:Sentack) who made 3 edits in the 2nd year badge timeframe, but does not have the badge. However, the edits were to a talk page and his own page (Special:Contributions/Sentack) and the account is not registered. While it's a few years late, if edits to talk pages (especially those that resulted in changes to the article proper) qualify for the badge, even for unregistered users, this user should get the badge. It's a small thing, but there may be other users like Sentack that fell through the cracks that should get recognition for their edits. Felderburg (talk) 16:12, 29 May 2015 (UTC)
- I believe the issue is not whether the edits were worthy, but if they could be found at all. It appears that Sentack was converted to Fiery Transfer, which caused the edits by Sentack to no longer be searchable. There were several other cases of this that I'd found when I first applied this template, so I'm not surprised that there are more out there. The bigger question is if it's possible to search for all unregistered users and the edits they made. User:Blondeshell/Sig 16:31, 29 May 2015 (UTC)
- Ah, I see now in the history of the pages Fiery Transfer instead of Sentack. How is it that the whole Sentack namespace and associated contributions still exists, but then is listed as FT in the history pages? I suspect it's beyond my grasp of Wiki tech, I'm just curious. Regardless, Fiery Transfer does have quite a few edits from years earlier than his badges, and should be awarded them. As for finding unregistered users, I don't know how one would do that. The user list page (Special:ListUsers) doesn't have Sentack, so.... I don't know. Felderburg (talk) 16:43, 29 May 2015 (UTC)
