Lethal Lottery

A format for Arena tournaments. All participants are pooled, then drawn into random teams. Members of winning teams advance to the next round, where they are randomly paired once again, until a final is fought between the two remaining teams. All members of the winning team are declared the victors.

Team sizes can vary, with 2-man, 5-man and 6-man teams all occurring. Usually these tourneys will feature both heroes and villains. They are usually single elimination format but can be run double elimination.
