This article contains information that no longer applies to the current version of Homecoming: City of Heroes/Villains. It is provided for historical purposes.

First seen during Issue 9 closed beta testing, Watcher was a Tanker who possessed all tanker sets, but was actually a Villain. Later on during Issue 9 open beta testing, he swapped over to being a heroic tank and has been seen fishing occasionally in Steel Canyon with BackAlleyBrawler. Watcher also was the first Developer to make an appearance at the Third Anniversary Event.

After Issue 9 testing was over, it was revealed that Watcher was in fact Positron incognito.
