nerf
Is it worth mentioning the "nerf joke" regeneration was in the early issues of the game?-bellpei
- Perhaps in the history section. Keep it concise. --Konoko 02:51, 9 June 2007 (EDT)
Disambig?
Should we create a disambiguation page (and if needed page for defining it...) for the gameplay concept of Regen (i.e. HP increase over time up to maximum)? - Kalon
- Nice catch. I suspect something might break if we tack anything on the end of the title of the powerset. What would be an appropriate thing to tack on the end of the Gameplay article? Or maybe combine it with the Recovery article, they're both defined by percentages. Or maybe Health Regeneration and Endurance Recovery. --Konoko 19:38, 21 June 2007 (EDT) (don't forget to sign talk pages)
Possible article name/locations for Health Regeneration
- My take on it: Regeneration should be the power set, with a note at the top that states (without the indentation):
- This is the page for the Regeneration power set. For information on regeneration in general, see the Health Regeneration page.
- (And I just looked and, lo and behold, aside from the redirect, that's how it's done. Must be because that's how Wikipedia does it, though I bet they have a template. Stick a fork in it.)
- I don't think people are going to "get" the (Gameplay) and (Concept) article names, since it could be argued that the power set is very much a concept that impacts game play. Recovery and Endurance Recovery should both exist, with one being a redirect to the other, but I can't think of a reason to prefer one over the other for the actual article.
- I don't think that Health Regeneration should be on the same page as (Endurance) Recovery, unless Regeneration, Recovery, and other things are on a page about Character Stats and their interactions; such a page would be a stretch, because while they have similar mechanics, they do not directly interact. Lastly, nobody's going to search for the term "regeneration"; they're going to look for "Health", "HP", and/or "regeneration", so we need something at those points to catch them. --Lin Chiao Feng 22:03, 21 June 2007 (EDT).
