Overview

Field Mastery is one of the Ancillary Power Pools available to Masterminds.

You have Mastery over Energy and Force to protect yourself and defeat your foes.

The following table shows which powers are available and at what level:

PowerBlast EnergyTorrent.png Energy Torrent

Energy Torrent unleashes a cone of powerful energy that can smash foes and possibly send them flying. You must be level 38 and have Power Blast or Temp Invulnerability before selecting this power.

PowerBlast Explosion.png Explosive Blast

You hurl a blast of charged energy that violently explodes on impact, damaging all foes near the target. Explosive Blast may also knock targets back. You must be level 41 and have Power Blast or Temp Invulnerability before selecting this power.

FieldMastery ForceofNature.png Force of Nature

Bug! Slotting Endurance Modification into Force of Nature currently has no effect on the power.

When you activate this power, you become highly resistant to all damage types except psionics. Your endurance recovery is also increased. Force of Nature costs little endurance to activate, but when it wears off you are left exhausted, and drained of almost all endurance, and unable to recover endurance for a short while. You must be level 44 and have two other Field Mastery Powers before selecting this power.

A much more powerful, yet slower version of Power Bolt. Power Blast sends a focused beam of energy at a foe that can knock him back.

Historical

This section contains information about changes that took place in Homecoming: City of Heroes/Villains. It is provided for historical purposes.

  • This set was added to the game in Issue 18.
  • Issue 21 lowered the level at which the set's powers become available: two changed from 41 to 35, two from 44 to 41, and one from 47 to 44.
  • Issue 27, Page 5 lowered the level at which the third power from Ancillary Power Pools unlocked from level 41 to level 38.
