While investigating a break in at a biotech lab, you came across a clump of floating purple goo and decided to have some tests run on it. The results are intriguing:
According to the lab tests, this is irradiated blood from a kheldian. The radiation signature is at first confounding, but then suspicious, as their energy pattern appears to be the inverse of a radiation signature found at the scenes of several recent crimes conducted by Prelate Bladrov of the Lost. A sweep of the area indicates that similar radiation signatures are present in only one part of the Rogue Isles. You've found Bladrov's lair!
The Rogue Isles are filled with criminal scum, but this one is different, he's no 'destined one' but he seems to be growing in power. Bladrov must be stopped before his power grows out of control.
VILLAIN: Stop Bladrov before he grows too powerful!
Briefing
Tests also reveal that when the irradiated kheldian blood comes into close proximity with the inverted radiation traces from the other crime scenes, that both radiation signatures start to decay and the blood begins to break down at the cellular level. If this irradiated blood has something to do with Bladrov's growing power, you may have found a way to neutralize it, or even kill him!

Bladrov's lair is, unsurprisingly, located in the sewers, the only place for scum like him to hide. Enter his lair, discover how he's using the substance and radiation signatures to increase his power, and then find more of the irradiated kheldian blood to use against him.

You find a notebook on the lab filled with notes. You flip through it and find this.
"The cure is working better than I'd hoped. I am gaining more and more power with each test. It is hard to believe that what only a month ago was killing me is now making me stronger than anyone in the ranks of Arachnos or the Lost. Soon I will make the world suffer as I have.
Mike's kheldian infused blood can be irradiated with a precise energy wave which is opposite to the radiation produced within my own blood. The radiation signatures will cancel one another out in close proximity, but in small doses I can transfuse Mike's blood into my own body. The result is all the power but none of the drawbacks.
In addition, I have discovered that the process has lasting effects, on both of us. While Mike grows weaker, I grow stronger.
Soon I shall exact vengeance upon the damnable Kheldians for what they've done. Until then, I will continue to build up my strength so that I am capable of carrying a dose of Mike's blood with me in order to super charge my power in case I run into one of Recluse's 'destined ones' again. This time I will be ready."
You search the journal for any sign of a motive and come across this entry
"The lasting effects of the transfusion appear to work on others only if they are transfused from me immediately following a dosage of Mike's irradiated blood. Right now the effects are strong for a short time, but the lasting effects are limited, though promising. I hope that Mike lasts long enough for me to perfect the process, as well as to transfer his blood into a new host who can continue producing the irradiated blood I need to fuel my own powers, as well as those of my new army."

You look for any information you can find about where Mike may be being held and find the following.
"I have Mike secured nearby, but not too close. When I realized his blood was the key, I made sure that he didn't disappear on me. I have him locked up and under constant guard. It took my men a few beatings to remind them how important Mike is to our plans. I think they understand now just how serious guard duty over him really is.
Once I've perfected the process I will work on obtaining a new group of prisoners that match Mike's Type A Blood so I can begin transfusions. Once we have a stable supply, my men and I will be unstoppable."

You read through the journal to one of the first entries and find the following.
I can't stay close to Mike for longer than a minute. The intense radiation he is afflicted with does something to me. It makes me feel like I'm boiling alive, and I'm pretty sure Mike feels it too. He passed out from the pain before I could get away last time I saw him.
God, what did they do to me down there? I need to find the answers, but I'll have to do it alone. I fear that if I get too close to Mike I will die. I'll have to consider securing him somewhere safe so I can be sure we don't kill each other."

I... I was abducted... by aliens. They did something to my brother and I. I don't know what happened to him, I think he's dead. Then the Lost came for me and took me here. I don't know how long I've been down here, but they come for me every day and drain my blood. I'm... so weak.
- We need to find Bladrov, come on.
Bladrov?! He... He's the boss! I hear the Lost speak fearfully of him. I'm not a superhero. I cannot fight him. I need to go to a hospital... I need to escape... I'm dying, please.
I've never seen him, he sends others to do his bidding. I believe he's further down in the sewers. Please, I beg of you, take me to a hospital, my brother may be looking for me.
- I'll help you, but first, we kill Bladrov.
How can I help? I'm in no condition to fight. Please, Character, I need medical help... please.

Debriefing
You were able to defeat Bladrov by counteracting his powers by using the irradiated kheldian blood to neutralize the radiation in his own. Unfortunately, to do so required the sacrifice of Bladrov's prisoner and brother, Mike Samson. He did not die in vain, he died a hero!
