Ugh, the seedy underside of having a publically editable wiki is that you run the risk of idiots vandalizing it with ads and such.

Thanks for the rollback, Arkanor, and good eye on catching it.

No problem. This site is vastly too useful to let folks mess it up. - Arkenor

Unlock?

IMO, You have enough editors to warrant unlocking almost every page. Those users can handle fixing up any vandalized pages.  :)

The possible exception is the front page. But I've also heard some good arguments for opening that page, too.

Thanks!

Forum Ban appeal page

I noticed there is no place on cohtitan and it's related sites for ban appeals. Could it be possible to make such a page somewhere? I am currently perma-banned from the forum by Aggelakis, so I had to resort to coming here to the discussion tab on a help page and hope someone sees it. Thanks when you do.

Appeals of that nature can be directed to the Titan admin staff via email: admins@cohtitan.com. -- Sekoia (talk) 03:51, 9 August 2016 (UTC)
Just noticed this (I'm a little late, I know). Seems to me that there should be an easier way on the forums to be notified of that method of contact. Not only for ease of appeal (or contacting generally) but also because I suspect we don't want banned people editing the wiki either, right? In this case it was benign but if someone with actual ill intent towards the forums gets banned, seems to me they may take that ill intent to the wiki. So I would suggest considering making a ban in any single Titan site to apply to all Titan sites. Felderburg (talk) 04:57, 14 September 2016 (UTC)
there are different levels of banning and types. While site-wide banning is possible, usually if someone acts up on the forums (which are Titan Network's, not just the wiki's) they don't also vandalize. Discussions can get heated and things said, but that doesn't make someone who got banned there a bad person, so we try to use the least needed punishment first, rather than a blanket one. Don't worry, the wiki can be reverted, and things can be reverted wholesale based on user for when we do have a vandal. Not only that, but things are backed up regularly. --Sleepykitty (talk) 08:38, 16 September 2016 (UTC)
