Sting of the Manticore is a Sniper Attacks enhancement set in the Invention System. It is available in the 35-50 level range.
There are six enhancements in this set:
- Sting of the Manticore: Accuracy/Damage,
- Sting of the Manticore: Damage/Endurance,
- Sting of the Manticore: Accuracy/Interrupt/Range,
- Sting of the Manticore: Damage/Interrupt/Recharge,
- Sting of the Manticore: Damage/Endurance/Recharge, and
- Sting of the Manticore: Chance for Toxic Damage
.
Only one of each of these types of enhancements may be slotted per power, except for unique enhancements which, if present, are denoted by the 
symbol and are limited to one per build.
The following set bonuses apply when slotting more than one of the enhancements in this set into a single power:
- Two enhancements improves your Regeneration by 12%.
- Three enhancements increases Ranged Defense by 2.5%.
- Three enhancements increases Energy and Negative Energy Defense by 1.25%.
- Four enhancements improves the Damage of all your powers by 3%.
- Five enhancements improves the Recharge of all your powers by 7.5%.
- Six enhancements increases Toxic and Psionic Resistance by 4.5%.
- Six enhancements reduces the duration of Immobilize effects on you by 7.5%.
- Six enhancements reduces the duration of Hold effects on you by 7.5%.
- Six enhancements reduces the duration of Stun effects on you by 7.5%.
- Six enhancements reduces the duration of Sleep effects on you by 7.5%.
- Six enhancements reduces the duration of Fear effects on you by 7.5%.
- Six enhancements reduces the duration of Confuse effects on you by 7.5%.
