About Me
I started playing CoH within a week or three of launch, up until just prior to Issue 4. Other than a brief return (I don't remember when, but I do remember tinkering with the invention system), I didn't play again prior to shutdown, but I always remembered my time in Paragon City fondly and was quite excited to have CoH back in the form of Homecoming.
I've put in a lot of time compiling badge data, despite not being overly interested in badge collection in-game. Back on live, I was a Test server badge/plaque hunter when they were first announced, and I was the original 'finder' for a handful of them, particularly the ones in Boomtown. Here on Homecoming, I compiled my own badge database (mostly from City Info Tracker data) for my personal log parser. This led to minor contributions to the badge tracker spreadsheet, and then later to more significant contributions to the badge database for the Badger site. This led to a few ancillary projects (popmenus and the like) and now I'm here on the wiki using that knowledge to update pages as I can. In addition to badges and badge-related data, I've updated pages related to enhancement sets, recipes, and maps. I try to vary the types of pages I work on so I don't burn out.
I should note that this is the first wiki I've edited and I'm still learning how everything works, but I think I have a decent handle on the basics.
Task List
- Several tasks that involve the Enhancement Sets page
- A number of sets, primarily the Winter sets and Archetype sets, need to be created and populated with individual enhancements
- Almost every set page contains some erroneous data in the set bonus section, so the set bonus information will need to be updated
- My plan is to work section-by-section starting from the top, creating the pages that should exist, and correcting any issues (including but not limited to set bonus data) that I find in existing pages
- I'll use my game screenshots to provide the correct data, as is recommended at the top of the page
- I don't want to commit to a time frame, my plan is to try to complete at least 2-3 sections per week, depending on the size of the sections and the amount of time I can devote. Some sections will take longer than others (particularly the ATOs), since some sections will need each enhancement page to be created
- Issue 25 Badges badge page (check/add badges as time permits)
- This has been created and most of the badges should be there but it still needs some polish
- Missing badges need to be added, and some badges need to be added/update on their respective badge category pages
