Information
Guest DJ
Scratch is a rough and tumble friend of DJ Zero's from way back. He's one tough customer and by hanging out with DJ Zero he's seen some crazy stuff. Never one to shy away from a dirty deed or two he tends to hang out with the shadier crowds in the club.
Wrong Faction
Take a hike buddy, I need a Villain who ain't afraid to get down and dirty to lead this mission. Maybe you should talk to Ganymede over there.
Initial Contact
Nice of you to wander by. Think you're ready for some work?
Greetings
You think you're a tough guy huh? We'll see about that, I've got something for you to try.
Too Busy
Hey Character, when you're not busy I need some help over here.
No More Missions
That's all from me.
Store
Scratch does not sell anything.
Missions
Find out where Arachnos has the cauldron and report back here
Briefing
DJ Zero found out that Lord Recluse has a cauldron of water from the well of the furies and is going to use it to create an army of super-soldiers. This spells bad news for the Destined Ones, as they will no longer fit into Lord Recluses' plan. His ultimate goal is to stock Arachnos with unstoppable soldiers and ship all the villains back to Paragon City. As long as that cauldron exists, villains are threatened with replacement and heroes are threatened with Paragon being overrun by exiled super criminals. This will be a hard task and you should utilize the talents of both Heroes and Villains. Start by going to the Circle of Thorns group they stole the cauldron from. They may have an idea of where to find it. Find out where Arachnos had the cauldron and report back here.
Mission Acceptance
Okay Character, head over to Terrigol's Circle of Thorns coven and shake them up to see if they know where the cauldron is. These guys have some weird magics going on so there's a good chance they'll still be connected to it somehow. If you need a little extra oomph, go see Chilly or Dram upstairs and buy a Dimension Drop power or two.
Unnecessary Solicitation
Lean on those Circle chumps and find out where that cauldron is.
Mission Objective(s)
These caverns sound more hollow than normal for some strange reason.
- Defaeat Terrigol
After putting the question to Terrigol's coven you managed to discover where Arachnos is keeping the cauldron.
Enemies
Notable NPCs
- Terrigol (Circle of Thorns Madness Mage) (Circle of Thorns Succubus)
You have discovered where the mystical cauldron is being kept.
Debriefing
Not bad, not bad.
Get a Hero to the cauldron and destroy it
Briefing
Now that DJ Zero knows where the cauldron is he wants you to hunt it down and destroy it. There's one catch though, that thing can only be crushed by someone who is 'pure of heart'. You believe that trash? Anyway, you'll have to take some Hero, Vigilante, or Resistance person along with you to bust the cauldron up. Thing's will be easier if you get one of the Dimension Drop powers from Chilly or Dram upstairs. Get a Hero to the cauldron and destroy it.
Mission Acceptance
Make sure you have some 'perfect angel' in tow as you gate crash the Arachnos complex, though I don't know if some of those Resistance members really count, if you know what I'm sayin'. You'll have to fight your way in and let the good guys do the final deed it seems. While you're at it bring back a sample of the tainted water so DJ Zero can see what they're trying to do with it.
Unnecessary Solicitation
If you don't hurry up and destroy that cauldron Arachnos will finish their project and we're outta luck. If you're too weak for the task then make sure to see Chilly or Dram upstairs and get some of the Dimension Drop powers before you head back in.
Mission Objective(s)
You smell a foul odor from further in this complex.
- Destroy mystical cauldron
- Get a Hero, Vigilante, or Resistance member to destroy the Cauldron
You have destroyed the cauldron and retrieved some of the Well-tainted water.
Note: The cauldron can only be destroyed by Hero, Vigilante or Resistance characters.
Enemies
Notable NPCs
- Operative Finch (Tarantulas Toxic Tarantula)
Objects
Despite your best efforts, you're unable to destroy the cauldron. You will need someone who is a Hero, Vigilante, or Resistance member to help you.
Hero
Your mere presence manages to cause the cauldron to crack, and then after a few moments, shatter into pieces!
Rewards:
Completing both this mission as well as the Bring the girdle of Aphrodite back to Ganymede mission from Ganymede will award the Handsome Badge for male characters and the Beautiful Badge for female characters, along with the Nectar temporary power.
Eros can bring out the beauty in any being.
Ranged, Targeted Area of Effect, Foe: Confuse, Placate
Eros has fashioned a version of Ambrosia from the waters of the Well of the Furies, which he has dubbed 'Nectar'. Eros' Nectar can be used up to 20 times on opponents to beguile them, effectively placating and confusing them
Merit Rewards: This activity awards 3 Reward Merits.
Debriefing
You think you're a tough guy huh? We'll see about that, I've got something for you to try.
See what DJ Zero needs help with
Briefing
So get this, DJ Zero has asked everyone if they could help with assisting the powers of Spring, Friendship, and Love... at first I was like, you have to be kidding me, but then I got a wicked idea. He's not really the sharpest needle in the record player, so just find out what he wants, then... do the opposite!
Doesn't that sound like fun?
Mission Acceptance
He's right over there, can't miss him. Goofiest hairdo in the place and a smile that can stop a missile cruiser.
Unnecessary Solicitation
Have you talked to DJ Zero yet?
Mission Objective(s)
- Speak with DJ Zero
Hey Character, guess what? It's that time of the year again! I've seen it a million times in trillion places, but it's always a rush. Flowers blooming, glances across the dance floor - feelings of renewal, friendship, love...
DJ Zero busts out into a dance move or two, then abruptly stops.
Whoa, getting carried away again! So tell me, want to help make the season a success?
- Yes
- Perfect! Let me attune you to the transdimensional Valentines, and pretty soon they'll all be taken care of. Voila!
- Wait, what? Valentines?
- Every year around this time, people send each other Valentines. Some are physical, some metaphorical, some are just wishes in the air. Most of them never get where they're supposed to go, sad face. So I thought to myself, 'Zero, old chum, wouldn't it be great if all those missed connections actually hit their target?' And before I knew it... Voila! Rules rewritten. Metaverse altered. To be honest, I didn't expect it to work. And actually, it didn't quite work...
- No
- Are you suuuure? You'll miss out on the fun! Plus, I haven't even told you what's up!
- What is this about?
- Every year around this time, people send each other Valentines. Some are physical, some metaphorical, some are just wishes in the air. Most of them never get where they're supposed to go, sad face. So I thought to myself, 'Zero, old chum, wouldn't it be great if all those missed connections actually hit their target?' And before I knew it... Voila! Rules rewritten. Metaverse altered. To be honest, I didn't expect it to work. And actually, it didn't quite work...
- How?

- Go on
- The only teensy snag is, I sort of jumbled it and left a lot of bits and pieces floating around in the ethereal planes. Long story short, there are a lot of Valentines which still need delivering, and now I've got no time to do it!
- Look, it's real simple. All I have to do is attune you to the vibe of the Valentines. You'll start running across them out in the world or when you do something Spring-related. Then all you gotta do is deliver them!
- So how about it?
- Alright
- I knew it! You'll be perfect for it. Alright, here we go!
- DJ Zero looks at you intently, cracks his knuckles and snaps both his fingers simultaneously.
- Voila! I, DJ Zero, deputize you, Character, as a transdimensional Valentine agent! Go forth and shake it up!
- Leave
