Overview
The Valentine's Day Event (officially called Spring Fling) celebrates the anniversary of Pocket D and Valentine's Day.
The Valentine's Event ran from February 1 through February 29, 2020. It included heroes and villains teaming up together, delivering (or misdelivering!) Valentine notes, assisting in the resurrection of the Red Widow, and a battle with Snaptooth to prevent him from destroying DJ Zero's portal.
Returning Events
Co-Operative Missions
Two mission contacts can be found in Pocket D:
Both contacts give out a two-mission arc that requires players to bring along at least one teammate from the opposing faction to get to the end-reward. The first mission of the arc can be soloed, but players need an opposing faction teammate to complete the second mission of the arc (only the opposing faction teammate could target and destroy the last object).
Characters have to be in the final mission of both arcs long enough to get credit for completing those two missions in order to acquire the Handsome/Beautiful badge.
Characters can only pick up one arc from their one contact. In order to do the other arc, they will need to get invited to an opposing faction team, or, invite an opposing faction teammate into their team and have that person pick up the mission.
Heroes and Villains who complete the second mission from both Ganymede and Scratch receive the Handsome Badge for male characters, Beautiful Badge for female characters):
Eros can bring out the beauty in any being.
The Handsome/Beautiful badge grants the temporary power of Nectar, a 20-use targeted area of effect confuse and placate. For characters that already have the Handsome/Beautiful badge from another year's event, they are able to do these missions again, but the badge isn't re-granted, and thus, the character does not get Nectar again.
Ranged (Targeted AoE), Foe Confuse, Placate
Eros has fashioned a version of Ambrosia from the waters of the Well of the Furies, which he has dubbed 'Nectar'. Eros' Nectar can be used up to 20 times on opponents to beguile them, effectively Placating and Confusing them. You have 20 doses. Recharge: Very Long [4 minutes]
After completing both missions, Ganymede or Scratch will offer a mission to introduce DJ Zero.
Defeat Snaptooth
Introduced by Ganymede or Scratch, DJ Zero sends players on a mission to prevent Snaptooth from destroying a Dimensional Portal, with a reward pop-up menu upon completion. This mission can be completed 10 times.
Reward choices:
Through the choices made in your life, you have been blessed with a Heart of Light.
Through the choices made in your life, you have been cursed with a Heart of Darkness.
Defeating Snaptooth 5 times awards the Toothbreaker badge.
You have defeated Snaptooth 5 times, and are truly a Toothbreaker.
Dimension Drop Powers
The event store contacts, Chilly and Dram, sell special temporary powers called Dimension Drop powers. These powers increase your teammate's damage, defense, or buff their hit points and endurance, but if used on one's traditional enemy (heroes on villains or villains on heroes), the power had a significantly greater effect. Chilly sells these temporary powers to heroes, and Dram to villains.

Two mission contacts can be found in Pocket D offering a story arc to reunite Lord Recluse with his long dead lover, Red Widow:

- Arbiter Hawk (Villains Contact)

You were instrumental in the resurrection of Red Widow, Lord Recluse's love from long ago. Only time will tell if this calms Recluse down or drives him to new heights of villainy.
Past Events
Anniversary Presents
For the duration of previous Valentine's event, heroes could find Sela Vermont, the wedding coordinator for Manticore and Sister Psyche's Wedding, standing in Atlas Park Plaza near Ms. Liberty. Talking to her would assign a mission to retrieve seven stolen wedding presents from an Arachnos warehouse.
Likewise, villains could find Zev Scalamore standing near the Black Market on Mercy Island. Zev would offer a chance to steal the same presents.
Though the contacts do not appear in zones anymore, their missions are available to all levels via Flashback at any time. No special badge or reward is offered for completing either mission.
