Overview
A Base Access Passcode is a unique passcode associated with a Supergroup's Base.
One of the changes in Issue 25 was the addition of 2 new commands: /sgpasscode and /enterbasefrompasscode. With these commands you can create a unique passcode for your supergroup base, and then use it with the other command to enter it.
Only a supergroup member or character who can set the base entry permissions can create the base access passcode.
The passcode will be in the following format: text-####, where the text is a player chosen word or group of characters, followed by a system generated supergroup ID number. The text may not exceed 20 characters and may only contain letters and numbers.
To create a supergroup base passcode type /sgpasscode text
into the chat box while in game. A 4-digit supergroup ID number will be automatically generated and appended onto your text. The newly created passcode will be temporarily displayed in the System chat channel.
Tip: Copy and paste your new passcode into your supergroup's Message of the Day or Motto so you'll never forget it.
