- Zoning
- The act of leaving one map for another, utilizing a Loading Screen; for instance, leaving Atlas Park to go into a mission, or leaving Atlas Park to zone to Galaxy City.
- Some players use it to refer to moving from one part of a map to a small "sub-map" (with no loading screen; it's an actual part of the map), such as the University in Steel Canyon or Cap au Diable (a sub-map within a Static Map), or even the Safeguard or Mayhem bank inside the missions (a sub-map within an Instanced Zone), even though this terminology is technically incorrect.
