Browsing around the internet, you visit less-than-savory blogs such as 'Villains and Molls', 'Evil or Good', and 'Minion of the Day'. When you're about to visit the last one you see an error message from the server:

There's no way you can't open that file. Sure it could have a virus, but when has something like that stopped you?

HERO: Open the file

You can't believe your luck. Stardusk kept her personal information in file of her blog? How stupid can you get?

Sure enough, inside the file was the combination to a safe in a warehouse tucked neatly away in Paragon City.

All of your new friends here are beginning to trust you; you don't want to ruin a good thing by getting caught jumping on an easy opportunity to make some fast cash. Howeverrrrrr... this IS a villain's ill-gotten gains we're talking about. AND she's illegally hiding it in Paragon City.

That's not really stealing, right?

• No. It's not stealing. Not at all.

Looking at the address of the warehouse, you remember being there at some point in the past. If you remember correctly, that place is likely guarded by hired security. BUUUUUT! But they're being paid with dirty money, so it's not like you're really hurting the good guys if you have to crack a few of their skulls... right?

Unnecessary Solicitation

If you plan on stealing all that easy cash - no, not steal... 'redistribute'... - then you're going to need to get to that warehouse before Stardusk finds out she's a moron and gave all her info away. Get to that safe in the warehouse!

So far so good. Looks like Stardusk hasn't found out yet that she's about to lose a big chunk of her cash. Get to that safe before your hero buddies know you're missing.

• Nope. Not at all. Now go get that cash!
  • Find Stardusk's hidden safe!
  • Take care of Shock Treatment
  • Open the safe before the heroes notice you're gone
  • Knock Doc Quantum unconscious!
  • Trick Doc Quantum into letting you go!

You might want to get out of here before Doc Quantum finishes dividing by infinity.

Stardusk's Electronic Safe interaction

Interacting with Stardusk's Electronic Safe

This is either the smartest or the dumbest safe you've ever seen. Either way, you have the keycode that will 'unlock' the safe.

• Enter the safe keycode

Once you enter the code, you hear a racket coming out of the case of the computer. A rank-smelling stream of smoke begins billowing out from the air vents from case. A second later, a panel opens on the side and a large bundle of bills are revealed.

• Grab the cash!

You grab the bundle of cash while noticing the computer doesn't seem to be in good shape.

• Get out of there before any Hero stops by.

Ambush! Shock Treatment will ambush the player after the cash has been stolen.

Before Combat:

Shock Treatment: Where are you going, you walking bucket of bolts?

Shock Treatment: The safe has got to be this way!

Shock Treatment: We gotta get it before Stardusk finds out we know her password!

Combat Start:

Shock Treatment: Oh, great... Character. It figures you'd be here.

Shock Treatment: It doesn't matter - Hand over the cash!

At 75% Life:

Shock Treatment: Boltz! Wherrrre ARRRRE you?

Ambush! Boltz will ambush the player once Shock Treatment's health reaches 75%.

Doc Quantum: Come out with your hands up, Shock Treatment! This is a sting!

Doc Quantum: Character? But... Where's Shock Treatment?

Doc Quantum: So... You've been working with Shock Treatment, have you?

At 25% Life:

Doc Quantum: Hm... Unless... It's quite possible this could be a wild coincidence...

Speaking with Doc Quantum

Although you're probably working with Shock Treatment and BOTH of you walked right into our sting operation, what would the chances be that you just HAPPEN to be in the nearby area? And just HAPPEN to have found our decoy safe? And just HAPPEN to be here when Shock showed up?

So what do you say? What are the chances that would all happen at the same time, eh?

What? A 17 percent chance that - Wait... That doesn't even make sense!

• It does if you divide by infinity.

Divide by infinity, you say? Hmmm... That could take a little while.

Okay, I'll trust you for now. But... If that money just HAPPENS to be gone, Character...

Well, the percentage chance of you spending time in the Zig is in the triple digits.

• You mean thiiiiiis money?... *Do a magic trick!*

You do the 'Coin-Behind-the-Ear' trick on Doc Quantum. However, instead of a coin, it's the bundle of cash we're about to 'redistribute'.

But... But how did it... I don't...

HOW'S THAT EVEN POSSIBLE?

• I told you - divive by infinity! In the meantime, I'm gonna get a bite to eat.

Debriefing

So it turns out the blog, password, safe - all of it - was actually a sting operation being carried out to round up stupid criminals. However, with some quick thinking you were able to bluff your way out of any blame - at the cost of handing over the money!

Quantum didn't realize the real magic trick was that the cash DIDN'T disappear.
