A special case of altitis.

Altsheimers (properly, Altsheimer's) is a play on the mental affliction named Alzheimer's.

This phenomenon occurs when a player creates numerous alts — and then forgets about some of them. A likely explanation is that the forgotten alts were created on servers which the player does not visit frequently.
