Alignment Merits are a special salvage awarded as part of the Alignment system introduced in Issue 18. There are two types of alignment merits: "Hero Alignment Merits" and "Villain Alignment Merits".

On Homecoming, they are converted by the Reward Merit Vendor to and from stacks of 50 Reward Merits. Their sole use is to make it easier to transfer Reward Merits between chararacters. The two types are interchangeable. They are Account Bound.
