@.@ Time, the eternal, impossible to manipulate existence of quasi-temporal reality. Whether caused by minute fluctuations in a quasi-polar multi-dimensional phenomenon, the manipulations of an all powerful Omni-entity capable of unending paradoxes, or merely the by-product of gravity singularities as they slowly draw and condense everything back into what it once was, time is a semi uniform field upon which humanity depends to calculate, plot, and lay out their existence.

Overview

The passage of time in-game is vastly accelerated with respect to real time. Heroes and Villains may encounter different aspects of the game depending on in-game time in addition to the graphical representation to day and night.

Algorithm

One real time hour is equivalent to two in-game days, with midnights occurring on the hour and on the half hour. The chart below compares real time (green) with the equivalent in-game time (blue). The servers syncronize their clocks with UTC.

Players may use the /citytime slash command to determine the current in-game time, which is reported on a 24-hour time scale.

Events

A number of events happen in the game between certain in-game times, including the following:

06:00 to 20:00

Real time: :08 to :25 and :38 to :55

21:00 to 06:00

Real time: :26 to :38 and :56 to :08
