Powers

PlantControl CarrionCreeper.png Carrion Creepers

You can create a Creeper patch at a targeted location. The patch will snag foes, slowing their movement, and preventing them from jumping or flying. Additionally, a Creeper Vine will burst from under each live and defeated foe in the area and start attacking your enemies. Creeper Vines do minimal damage, but they can knock down your enemies and its poisonous thorns can slow your foes. Any foes that are defeated in the Creeper patch will also produce a growth of Entangle Roots that will Immobilize any enemies near the defeated foe.

Editor's Note:

Carrion Creepers summons a Pseudopet, referred to by the power tooltip text as Creepers, which is invisible, untargetable, has a 2 minute duration, and follows you via the ground with limited jumping ability (it cannot fly). The Creepers entity summons Carrion Creeper Patch and Carrion Creeper Vine pets, which are the visible entities that appear in the game. The power hierarchy of these pets is detailed below.

Historical

This section contains information about changes that took place in Homecoming: City of Heroes/Villains. It is provided for historical purposes.

  • This set was added to the game with the original release of Dominators in Issue 6.
  • This set was proliferated to Controllers in Issue 12.
  • Carrion Creepers originally did not properly use slotted enhancements with exception of Recharge. This meant Carrion Creepers' accuracy, damage and slow did not increase despite any slotted enhancements. This was fixed in Issue 14.
