Is this for all Gladiator Badges or just CoH ones? - Snorii 06:15, 6 April 2006 (PDT)

Hmmm... I didn't realize that there was a CoV Gladiator category. I'm not sure what might be the best route to categoryize gladiators. I was just going through and adding the ones I had on my characters (all heroes), but I would think quite a few would be available on both sides. --StarGeek 11:53, 6 April 2006 (PDT)
It looks like gladiator badges might be universal for both heroes and villains. - Snorii 12:34, 6 April 2006 (PDT)
I looked at a couple of websites and some gladiator badges can only be obtained for one of the two sides. They do seem to have universal names however which is most likely because they aren't titles for characters. - Snorii 12:39, 6 April 2006 (PDT)
I created the CoV Gladiator category when I didn't know that they were all the same gladiators for the same badges. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that the gladiators that can only be gotten by one side are for badges that can only be gotten by one side. (?) If so, then I'm not opposed to just deleting the game-specific categories.

For several reasons, I have emptied this category into the separate CoV and CoH gladiator categories.
1) COH Gladiators, CoV Gladiators, and Gladiators all existed. And there was no clean line for when to use the game specific ones, and when to use the combined one.
2) All other badges are now sorted by game. So IMHO Gladiators should be handled the same way.
3) Reguardless of why, there are a large number of game-specific gladiators. Even to the point now where certain badges like the level 10 badges give different gladiators on the two sides.
All that is left in the category is the Gladiator badge list page, which can be moved up to Category:Badges. IMHO this combo category can then be removed by a moderator if there is no objection. - Sister Leortha 09:59, 27 July 2006 (PDT)
