Targeting

These things are really weird. I can't target them directly, period. I've clicked all around them, paying special attention to where NPCs effects are showing up, and it's just not doable. However, NPCs can target them, and if I target an NPC ally, I can hit and destroy them. I don't know of any other objects in the game like this. *shrug* --TonyV 10:26, 9 September 2006 (PDT)

That sounds very odd. Have you tried using /TargetName or /TargetCustomNext, maybe getting the actual object name out of a demo file? --StarGeek 11:06, 9 September 2006 (PDT)

Haven't tried TargetName, but I did try all other /target commands. I think it's a bug. If I have occasion to see them again, I'll try it out. The mission with the cave with these in them is assigned by Terrence Dobbs. --TonyV 08:22, 10 September 2006 (PDT)

Name?

Are these "Spider Webs" or "Spider Web"? if we can't target them, how are we determining the name for the wiki entry? -- Kalon 19:49, 9 August 2007 (EDT)

Been a long time since I've run that mission, so I don't recall: When the webs are destroyed, do you get a message in chat that says, "X has defeated Spider Webs"?
