This article contains information about changes that took place in Homecoming: City of Heroes. It is provided for historical purposes.

Overview

Issue 10 introduced several new badges to the game, all of which were related to the Rikti War Zone and Rikti World Invasion. For Heroes it added 13 Exploration badges, 5 Achievement badges, 2 Accomplishment badges and 1 Accolade badge. In total, 21 badges were introduced for Heroes upon the release of Issue 10. An additional 3 Achievement badges and 2 Veteran badges were added later, for a grand total of 26 Hero badges added during Issue 10.

For Villains, it added 14 Exploration badges, 5 Achievement badges, 2 Accomplishment badges and 1 Accolade badge. In total, 22 badges were introduced for Villains upon the release of Issue 10. An additional 3 Achievement badges and 2 Veteran badges were added later, for a grand total of 27 Villain badges added during Issue 10.

Finally, 2 Supergroup badges were added for Heroes and Villains in Issue 10.

NOTE: Issue 13 introduced a massive resorting and reorganizing of the badge system. Consequently, many, if not most, of this issue's badges may no longer be in the categories in which they are listed below. Please refer to the individual badge category listings for current information.
