Overview
Architect Edition was released on April 14, 2009. This is a special release to accompany Issue 14: Architect's release, though it did not arrive on shelves the same day the issue went live.
The package contains:
- An installation DVD containing all updates through Issue 14
- A two-sided map (the same map as the Good Versus Evil Edition)
- A "quick start guide", with the following:
- Installation guide for Mac and Windows
- Launching the game, playing with a single-button mouse on the Mac, account registration, and customer service
- Overview of the ten basic archetypes
- Layout of Windows default keyboard/mouse commands
- Layout of Mac default keyboard/mouse commands
- List of a few common emotes
- An activation code that can be redeemed for the user's choice of either Super Booster I: Cyborg or Super Booster II: Magic. Super Booster III: Superscience and Super Booster IV: Martial Arts are not available as an option, nor are any of the goodie packs that existed before AE's release.
Architect Edition is the first box set available in stores since GvE's 2006 release (the 2009 Mac Special Edition is only available online), and is available at most electronics boutiques, as well as available online.
