Overview

Fiery Aura is a standard power set that is a primary set for Tankers and a secondary set for Brutes, Scrappers, Stalkers, and Sentinels.

"You can engulf yourself in protective flames. Fiery Aura offers superior resistance to Fire damage, but weak resistance to Cold damage and no protection to Knockback. Fiery Aura is the most offensive of the defensive Power Sets, offering some damage output."

FlamingShield FieryEmbrace.png Fiery Embrace

Significantly boosts the damage of all your Fire attacks for quite a while. Also increases the damage of all your other non-fire based attacks for a short while.

Editor's Note:

Fiery Embrace works in two ways - by boosting the damage of Fire attacks, and by adding a Fire damage component to all Melee attacks with the extra damage based on that attack's damage. Critical and Toxic DoT damage is not affected. In PVP, the old version still applies. See Historical section.

FlamingShield Hide.png Hide

Hide makes you almost impossible to detect. When properly "Hidden", a Stalker can pull off Critical hits with his attacks, and even land a massive "Assassin's Strike" with an Assassin's power. When you attack or are damaged while using this power, you will be discovered. Even if discovered, you are hard to see and retain some bonus to Defense. Unlike most stealth powers, Hide can be used at the same time as other Concealment powers, giving you even greater stealth capability. No Endurance cost.

FlamingShield RiseOfThePhoenix.png Phoenix Rising

If you are defeated, you can rise from the ashes. The fiery resurrection blasts nearby foes with an explosion and knocks them down and Disorients them. You will revive with about half of your Hit Points and Endurance. Rise of the Phoenix will actually leave you invulnerable for a brief time, and protected from XP Debt for 60 seconds.

Editor's Note:

The Phoenix will strike a total of three times, with two seconds between strikes. Each strike automatically hits enemies within range and deals heavy damage, a magnitude 4 stun, and Knockback. If enemies stay within the 25' radius of the Phoenix's attack for all three strikes, nuke-level total damage and a very high magnitude of stun will be dealt. Powers that make enemies immune to Knockback (such as many holds and most immobilizes), enemies with inherent Knockback protection (such as Arch-Villains), and nearby walls and corners can all become tactically important when this power is used.
