Overview
The City of Heroes Bootleg Edition was a trial account package that was occasionally handed out at conventions where NCsoft had a booth, and was also included in the City of Heroes Collectible Card Game Battle Box Starter Kit. Unlike most trials, the Bootleg Edition didn't require a full retail code to be applied in order to subscribe and was marked as "Bootleg Edition" on the account management screen instead of just as a Trial Account.
