Contact Introduces

Multiple contact options
I know a couple people who have been asking about you. Must be the flattering pictures I've been taking.
Single contact option
You should meet a friend of mine.

Level 5-9

You should think about talking to Detective Jose Brogan. He's pretty intense, but he's a great cop and a good person to know if you are looking for information on the Lost. His beat is Atlas Park.

Detective Brogan will let you in on some interesting cases.

Have you ever met Paula Dempsey? She's a real pistol and has a great deal of information on the Clockwork. You'll like her, and I'll bet she'll like you as well. Paula hangs out in Kings Row.

Paula has high standards, but I have no doubt you will live up to them, Character.

Vic Johansson's good police. He'll steer you towards some interesting opportunities involving the Lost, and help smooth things over with law enforcement. His beat is Kings Row.

Vic is good people, Character. You will enjoy working with him.

Tony Kord is a good person to know. He knows what's happening in the city, especially where the Clockwork are concerned, and he'll often suggest solutions. Tony's company is in Atlas Park, so he usually hangs out there.

Deal honestly with Tony if you want his help.

You should consider introducing yourself to Laurence Mansfield. He is one of the more personable county coroners. He can be a very helpful resource on the Hellions and the Circle of Thorns. He is located in Atlas Park.

Mansfield has a strange sense of humor sometimes.

You ever been to one of Samuel Pierce's parties? He's an event promoter, and he knows how to put on a good time. He also has a nose for trouble. You should meet him, see if he'll give you a tip on the Vahzilok. Mr. Pierce is promoting a new movie over in Kings Row.

Samuel is somewhat cavalier, but he wants the city cleaned up very badly.

There's an EMT named Paco Sanchez who'd like to meet you. He's not only great at his job, but he also works well with heroes, tipping them off whenever he sees something interesting going on with the Hellions and the Circle of Thorns. Paco can be found in Atlas Park.

Paco primarily cares about saving lives.

You should introduce yourself to Genevieve Sanders. She's a pharmacist with a heart of gold who does a lot of community work, and she loves to help heroes against the Hellions and the Circle of Thorns. Genevieve is near the hospital in Kings Row.

She is one of the nicest people I know.

There's a detective who you should meet. Rachel Torres knows all about the happenings on the streets, and can probably give you good leads on the Lost. She can be located in Atlas Park.

Detective Torres is tough and efficient; you might learn a thing or two from her.

Have you heard of Hero Corps? They're a business that matches heroes up with jobs. There's a liaison named Henry Peter Wong there who's taking on new clients. You should chat with him about the Vahzilok menace. Hero Corps has Mr. Wong in Atlas Park.

Wong is pretty gung ho about Hero Corps; there's no denying that he will keep you busy.

Level 10-14

Have you ever stopped by Sanjay's News? The owner, Sanjay Chandra, is a great guy, real civic minded. He's always looking for ways to help heroes with the Lost and the Skulls. Sanjay's got the scoop over in Skyway City.

Sanjay is one of the most polite people in all of Paragon City.

There's this kid, Alfonse Rubel, who's a courier. He zips all over the city, delivering important packages and messages. He sees a lot of what's going down with the Lost and the Skulls. Al's route has him in Steel Canyon for the next few days.

Alfonse is almost always on the move. If you catch him at rest, he can help you out.

I suggest you meet Wilson Zucco. He's an ex-gang member who's turned his life around, and he knows the Lost and the Skulls better than anyone. He also has a great deal of information on the Vahzilok. Wilson keeps an eye on the Lost from within Steel Canyon.

Wilson is one of the only people in the city who bridges the gap between the law and the streets.

Information

Photographer

Juan Jiminez was born and raised in Paragon City, and he loves his hometown. He's made his way as a photographer since high school, when he sold Lifetimes Magazine a picture of the Statesman saving his school. Two months after his college graduation, the Rikti invaded. Juan enlisted in the army to help fight the invaders, bringing his camera along, and he managed to snap some of the most memorable photos of the war. Today, he is a freelance photographer who sells his pictures to local and national press outlets. He's also putting together a book of photos chronicling the post-ware transformation of the city and its effects on residents' daily lives. As interesting as this is, he knows that it's action shots that pay the bills, so he spends much of his time trying to get images of villains and heroes duking it out. He's currently working with reporter Maggie Greene on an expose about the Skulls.

Prior to Introduction

Hey, I'm right in the middle of something. You should catch up with Active Contact, ok?

Initial Contact

I can help you get where you need to go, Character.

Greeting

  • You ready for some excitement?
  • I've got some trouble spots you might want to hear about.

Too Busy

No more assignments for you, Character! Not until you finish some of your current jobs.

Not High Enough Level

My sources want this job handled by someone with Security Level 5 / 9 or higher. Maybe we should talk later.

No More Missions

Before introducing a higher-level contact
I think I have all the pics I need of you, Character. Thanks!
After introducing a higher-level contact
I don't have any more leads for you. Why not ask your other contacts?

Store

I am really starting to like you, my friend. Cast your eyes on my latest Enhancements; they're pretty sweet. You hear a rumor, call me, day or night.

You know, Character, you have really earned my respect with your actions. A source tipped me off to some crazy new gear; thought you'd like the first shot at it.

Missions

Break up the gang fight (5-10)

Briefing

The Skulls are planning to move on a Hellions hideout in an abandoned office building. I need someone to break up that gang fight. But watch out; once you show up, they won't stay around for long. You only have 75 minutes to break up the gang fight.

Mission Acceptance

I hear the Hellions have some valuable artifacts stored in that hideout. Bring them back if you can. Your only real objective is to stop the fight, but if you can prevent the artifacts from being destroyed, I'd be much obliged to you.

Unnecessary Solicitation

The Skulls and Hellions are still fighting in that abandoned office. You have to stop them.

Mission Objective(s)

You can hear the sounds of gunfire and flame, muted by the old office's decaying walls.

  • End gang war, arrest all thugs - 1:15:00
    • Protect artifacts

Failure - Some of the gang members have escaped justice.
Success - You defeated the gang members and averted a full-scale gang war.

Enemies

Skulls
Hellions

Notable NPCs

You have recovered several small artifacts.

Clue
Confiscated artifacts

You stopped the Skulls from destroying these artifacts.

Debriefing Mission Failure

Some of the gang members got away, but you broke up the showdown. Not too bad.

Debriefing Mission Successful

It seems both the Hellions and the Skulls were operating under orders. Character, there are bigger things afoot than a simple scuffle over territory. We have to get to the bottom of the Skulls' and the Hellions' connections!

Destroy the drug lab and recover the sample the Skulls are using (5-10)

Editor's Note:

The name of the boss can vary. Possible names include Marrow Drinker and Toothbreaker Jones. Boss Name has been used to substitute these names.

Briefing

Some Skulls have set up a lab to make their own Superadine. Someone needs to destroy that drug lab and recover the sample the Skulls are using. Can you get it done before they can go into mass production?

Mission Acceptance

I know you can do it, but be careful. The rumor is that Boss Name is running the show. He won't go down easy.

Unnecessary Solicitation

You've still got that Superadine lab to break up.

Mission Objective(s)

The old warehouse smells of rotting cardboard, rusting metal, and strange chemicals.

  • Stop Boss Name and crew
    • 3 labs to destroy

You got the Superadine sample and defeated Boss Name.

You found a sample of raw Superadine.

Clue
Raw Superadine sample

This unrefined sample of the drug Superadine was collected from a Skulls' drug lab.

Debriefing

That's more Superadine off the streets. Good work. I'll pass this sample along to someone I know at SERAPH.

Go to the streets and defeat a few Skulls (5-10)

Investigate Superadine ring

Briefing

I want to know where the Skulls are getting the money and supplies they need to run their Superadine ring. Character, get on the streets and take down a few Skulls. We've got to get to the bottom of this.

Mission Acceptance

Take a few of these Flashbang GrenadesThis power can be lost when you return to the contact that bestowed it.. They'll disorient the Skulls.

Here's those Flashbang Grenades.

Power

Ranged (Targeted Area of Effect), Foe -Accuracy, -Defense

These military issue non-lethal grenades explode with a concussive force that leaves all affected targets very vulnerable. Their Accuracy and Defense will be severely reduced. You have 6 grenades.
Note that these grenades disappear when you report back even if you haven't used them all.

Unnecessary Solicitation

We need more information about the Skulls' drug ring.

Mission Objective(s)

  • Investigate Superadine ring
    • Arrest 10 Skulls.

The last Skull you defeated gave up some information about the Skulls' drug ring.

Clue
The Skulls' hideout

One of the Skulls you defeated told you:

'Look, I never wanted to hurt nobody, really. I joined the Skulls because I wanted to be tough, but they're crazy. Listen, we hang out at a place we call The Bone Factory. A lot of bad stuff goes down there, just, don't make me go to prison, alright? I never hurt anyone, really.'

Ambush! After accepting this mission, there will be an ambush by Skulls.

Enemies

Skulls

Search Skulls' Hideout for clues

Unnecessary Solicitation

That Skulls' hideout is sure to have some clues that might shed some light on where and who they are getting their supplies from.

Mission Objective(s)

This place stinks of stale cigarettes and mildew. The Skulls living here are definitely violating health and safety codes.

  • Search Skulls' Hideout for clues
    • 4 pieces of evidence to examine
    • Arrest the Skulls' leader

You found some incriminating evidence in the Skulls' hideout and from their leader, Bone Rattler.

You find numerous Superadine samples with a variety of chemical additives mixed in to modify potency.

Clue
Superadine Samples

You found ample evidence that the Skulls have been delivered a number of barrels full of raw Superadine. They are also in possession of chemical lab equipment necessary to finish the process of turning it into the powerful street drug that is becoming more and more common every day.

Enemies

Skulls

NPCs

Bone Rattler gave you some useful information.

Clue
Bone Rattler's story

Bone Rattler told you:

'Yeah, all right, the Skulls got a partner. A big partner. But you'll never guess where the Dyne is coming from, zero. And I ain't tellin' ya.'

Debriefing

So, there is another play supplying the Skulls with Superadine. Very interesting. We'll have to learn more if we're going to win the drug war in Paragon City.

Go to Perez Park and stop the Skulls' drug trafficking (5-10)

Combat Skulls in Perez Park

Briefing

The Skulls have been selling a lot of Superadine in Perez Park lately. The hospitals are crowded with overdosed addicts, and street crime is escalating. I need you to go to the source. Get over to Perez Park and stop the Skulls' drug trafficking. If we can't stem the flow of Superadine, we could wind up losing a lot of people in that zone.

Mission Acceptance

The Boneyard and the park itself are some of the Skulls' favorite hangouts. I suggest you start there.

Unnecessary Solicitation

The Skulls are still selling Superadine by the cartload. Please, get to Perez Park!

You learned that the Skulls have a major supply cache of Superadine not far from here.

    • 5 crates to destroy

You have discouraged the Skulls from selling Superadine in Perez Park.

Well done, Character. The Skulls' drug ring just took a big hit.

Security Chief Missions

A character can complete each of these missions only once. If any of these missions is active or completed from another contact, this contact won't offer that mission.

Kings Row briefing

A lot of hardworking folks live in Kings Row, home to most of Paragon City's labor force. The place was named after the King Garment Works, but that business went under over twenty years ago. Now, Kings Row is in the hands of all sorts of businesses, from small factories to various Crey subsidiaries. Unfortunately, those damn Skulls have taken over the streets. Some people say that those ghouls belong to some sort of death cult. Whether that's true or not, the Skulls are sure full of trouble.

Kings Row is like a war zone right now.

See Perez Park Security Chief (7-9)

Talk to Security Chief

Briefing

The Security Chief for Perez Park asked for you by name. You should take that as a compliment. Go talk to him. He's located in Atlas Park near the gates to Perez Park.

Mission Acceptance

Perez Park is a dangerous place these days. Clearly the Chief thinks you can handle it, but take a couple of friends with you, just in case.

Unnecessary Solicitation

Don't let the Perez Park Security Chief down, Character.

Mission Objective(s)

  • Talk to Security Chief

Briefing

Take this briefing seriously. I need you to deal with some of the Circle of Thorns mystics that have been plaguing the area. Try looking for them in Bettis Hills.

Clue
Perez Park briefing

Perez Park used to be a beautiful place to take your family for an afternoon picnic. Now, no one in his right mind wanders in there. Most of the area has been abandoned, largely due to the rumors of unholy Circle of Thorns rites taking place deep within the forest. The park is entirely overgrown, a perfect place for those strange mystics to summon up a demon or two. This zone is so deadly that even heroes shouldn't go in there in groups of fewer than three.

Keep the peace in Perez Park

Unnecessary Solicitation

Deal with the Circle in Perez Park!

Mission Objective(s)

  • Keep the peace in Perez Park
    • Defeat 10 Circle of Thorns

You have defeated 10 Circle of Thorns mystics.

Unnecessary Solicitation

Don't let the Security Chief down, Character.

Mission Objective(s)

  • Talk to Security Chief in Steel Canyon

Briefing

Here is some info on the area. I need you to get out on the streets and contain the Outcasts. They can usually be found in Blyde Square or the Copper District.

Clue
Steel Canyon briefing

Steel Canyon is the financial district of Paragon City. Many national banks, insurance companies, and investment firms have their headquarters in this zone. In fact, so much money flows through Steel Canyon, Paragon City ranks among America's richest cities. Success has spurred the construction of so many skyscrapers that the place looks like a canyon made of concrete, glass and metal. The zone isn't without its dangers, though. The Outcasts have claimed the area as their own, and they've recruited a lot of kids with mutant powers related to the elements. That's what the Outcasts love best—beating down their enemies with the power of the elements.

Keep peace in Steel Canyon

Unnecessary Solicitation

Deal with the Outcasts for Security!

Mission Objective(s)

  • Keep peace in Steel Canyon
    • Defeat 10 Outcasts

You have defeated 10 Outcasts.

Enemies

Talk to the Boomtown Security Chief (12)

Talk to Security Chief

Briefing

Lately, the Clockwork have been tearing Boomtown apart. Report to the Security Chief for that zone and he will tell you what to do.

Mission Acceptance

I don't know why they do this, but the Clockwork are becoming more of a menace every day. Watch out for the huge monster, Babbage!

Unnecessary Solicitation

Don't let the Security Chief down, Character.

Mission Objective(s)

  • Talk to Security Chief

Briefing

Here is some info on Boomtown, Character. I need you to stop the Clockwork! You could start looking for them in Primer or the Cannonade.

Clue
Boomtown briefing

Baumton was the city's first marketplace, where tradesman and farmers went to sell their wares. After the Rikti Invasion, people started calling it Boomtown, because the devastation reminded them of a bomb crater. It's pretty dangerous. If I were you, I wouldn't go in without a few other heroes for backup. The place is infested with those Clockwork robots. They look like toys, but they cause plenty of havoc by stealing bits of machinery and metal from all over. Even worse, a giant clockwork monster called Babbage prevents any pacification of the zone. Be especially careful of him.

Keep peace in Boomtown

Unnecessary Solicitation

Deal with the Clockwork for Security!

Mission Objective(s)

  • Keep peace in Boomtown
    • Defeat 10 Clockwork

You have defeated 10 Clockwork.

Debriefing

We used to laugh at the Clockwork. Not anymore. Well done, Character.

Talk to the Skyway City Security Chief (13-14)

Talk to Security Chief

Briefing

The Trolls are rampaging again! The Security Chief asked for you by name. Find him, and get your assignment.

Mission Acceptance

These rampages are happening more and more. Something has to be done!

Unnecessary Solicitation

Don't let the Security Chief down, Character.

Mission Objective(s)

  • Talk to Security Chief

Briefing

Take this and get on the streets immediately. Stop those Trolls! They've caused a lot of havoc in Vista Plaza and the Astral District.

Clue
Skyway City briefing

Back in the 1970's, there was a huge drive to create highways to relieve congestion in the city. No one would need to drive on the surface streets - instead, we would drive above them! So the city started building high spanning bridges everywhere, and Skyway City quickly turned into one big highway in the sky. Now this zone is home to a street gang that likes to camp out underneath bridges: the Trolls. These are thugs who've mutated, thanks to taking a bit too much Superadine. But watch out; the drug has given many of them inhuman strength and resistance.

Stop rampage in Skyway City

Unnecessary Solicitation

Deal with the Trolls for Security!

Mission Objective(s)

  • Stop rampage in Skyway City
    • Defeat 10 Trolls

You have stopped the rampage.

Debriefing

Good job today. There must be some link between Superadine and these rampages. The Trolls need to be cut off from their supply.
