Overview

Veteran Levels are awarded after a character is level 50. Each veteran level requires 5,608,000 XP to achieve. The "Total XP" stat in the I.D. window is capped at 44,757,119. Once the cap is reached, the amount displayed in "Total XP" is reset to the amount needed to achieve level 50, or 39,149,119 XP.

Veteran levels are not visible in your character I.D. window nor on the level indicator in the Status window. However, you can see the veteran level of a character in the Info window (Menu--> Personal Info) or by right-clicking on another character and selecting "Info". Alternately, you can use the slash command /Info.

There is no combat or game mechanic benefit to having veteran levels. However, on Homecoming, gaining experience after level 50 awards Incarnate Psychic Experience used to unlock Incarnate powers. Veteran levels also bestow other Incarnate rewards.

First 99 Veteran Levels

Almost half of the first 99 veteran levels offer a supply of Incarnate crafting materials as they are gained, weighted to the first 12 granting the most in quantity and tapering off from Veteran Level 13 forward. Every three veteran levels awards a badge (often from the old Veteran Rewards scheme for ones granted from VL 3 to 84) until Veteran Level 99 is reached.

Subsequent Veteran Levels (100+)

No further badges, awards or materials are granted. There is also no maximum Veteran Level found so far by Homecoming players at this time.

Details

Empyrean Merits

Every 3rd veteran level to veteran level 99, you receive Empyrean Merits:

Level Range Merits Awarded Total from this range
3-24 20 160
27-48 15 120
51-75 10 90
78-99 5 40

The grand total is 410.

Incarnate Threads

At veteran levels 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10, 11 you receive a grant of 120 Incarnate Threads for a total of 960.

Costume Change Tokens & Respecs

An allotment of Costume Change and/or Respec tokens from the former Veteran Rewards program is also granted up to Veteran Level 84. Unlike threads and merits there's no pattern: the grants follow the old Veteran Rewards program and the rewards are specific to the badge received. Instead of granting for all characters on your account these tokens only grant for your character.

All other former Veteran Rewards program grants (such as Prestige Powers or Tailor Coupons) are not offered in the Veteran Level system. They are now issued in other ways (mainly through the P2W Vendor for a INF price.)

A total of 13 Costume Change tokens and 6 Respec tokens are granted.
