Overview

This guide attempts to provide a guide for Praetorian completionists, from Precinct Five all the way through Night Ward. Note that whether you choose Loyalist or Resistance, you should follow this guide to the letter. There is little wiggle room.

Loyalist

  1. Mandatory: Play the tutorial, and choose Loyalist. Be sure to get the Avid Reader badge by reading all of Rothstein's dialogue.
  2. Go to Nova Praetoria. Make sure that you do not ding past level seven!
  3. Play Praetor White's story arc.
  4. Type: /thumbtack -5955 24 -873
  5. Introduce yourself to Robert Flores.
  6. Robert Flores > Tunnel Rat > Doctor Arvin > choose Resistance
  7. Ricochet > Splice > Jack Hammer > choose Loyalist
  8. Chief Interrogator Washington > Cleopatra > choose Loyalist
  9. Deputy Assistant of Information > Warrant > Reese > choose Loyalist
  10. Turn XP back on, and run Clockwork A87952's missions until level nine.
  11. Go to Imperial City. Make sure that you do not ding past level fourteen!
  12. Jessica Flores > Luke Larson > Doctor Steffard > Seer 1381 > choose Resistance
  13. Hatchet > Beholder > Vagabond > Wardog > choose Loyalist
  14. Interrogator Kang > Alec Parson > Investigator Whitworth > Chance McKnight > choose Loyalist
  15. Mr. G > Transmuter > Tami Baker > Praetor Sinclair > choose Loyalist
  16. Turn XP back on, and run Clockwork A87952's missions until level fifteen.
  17. Go to Neutropolis. Make sure that you do not ding past level eighteen!
  18. Type: /thumbtack 2878 -72 -182
  19. Introduce yourself to Aaron Walker.
  20. Aaron Walker > Penelope Yin > Dark Watcher > choose Resistance
  21. Crow > Helix > Calvin Scott > choose Loyalist
  22. IVy > Praetor Tilman > Anti-Matter > choose Loyalist
  23. Dr. Hetzfeld > Bobcat > Neuron > choose Loyalist
  24. Turn XP back on, and run Clockwork A87952's missions until level twenty.
  25. Go to Underground Imperial City.
  26. Type: /thumbtack -1727 3367 1359
  27. Introduce yourself to the Doorman.
  28. Go to First Ward. Make sure that you do not ding past level 28!
  29. Nadia > Palatine > Noble Savage > Katie Douglas > Blind Makwa > Cerulean > Master Midnight > Vanessa DeVore
  30. Turn XP back on if necessary, and run Angela Hu's, Mr. Caldoun's and/or Vickers' missions until level thirty.
  31. Archmage Hellewise > Mistress Maria
  32. Go to Night Ward. Make sure that you do not ding past level 39!
  33. Montague Castanella > Ward > Sir Bedwyr > The Magician
  34. Provost Marchand > choose Hero or Villain

Resistance

  1. Mandatory: Play the tutorial, and choose Resistance. Be sure to get the Avid Reader badge by reading all of Rothstein's dialogue.
  2. Go to Nova Praetoria. Make sure that you do not ding past level seven!
  3. Play Praetor White's story arc.
  4. Type /thumbtack -5194 47 296
  5. Introduce yourself to Chief Interrogator Washington.
  6. Chief Interrogator Washington > Cleopatra > choose Loyalist
  7. Deputy Assistant of Information > Warrant > Reese > choose Resistance
  8. Robert Flores > Tunnel Rat > Doctor Arvin > choose Resistance
  9. Ricochet > Splice > Jack Hammer > choose Resistance
  10. Turn XP back on, and run Message Man's missions until level nine.
  11. Go to Imperial City. Make sure that you do not ding past level fourteen!

  21. Introduce yourself to Aaron Walker.

  24. Turn XP back on, and run Message Man's missions until level twenty.
  25. Go to Underground Imperial City.

  27. Introduce yourself to the Doorman.
  28. Go to First Ward. Make sure that you do not ding past level 28!

  30. Turn XP back on if necessary, and run Roadflare's, Trina Furst's and/or Vickers' missions until level thirty.
  31. Archmage Hellewise > Mistress Maria
  32. Go to Night Ward. Make sure that you do not ding past level 39!
  33. Montague Castanella > Ward > Sir Bedwyr > The Magician
  34. Steven Sheridan > choose Hero or Villain

Optional

  • While in Nova Praetoria, you can run The Protest event. Just make sure that you do not ding past level seven while doing so!
  • While in Imperial City, you can run the Syndicate Takedown event. Just make sure that you do not ding past level fourteen while doing so!
  • While in Imperial City, you can do the Invention tutorial by talking with Relations Expert Verna Arcola inside the C.D.E.C. building. Just make sure that you do not ding past level fourteen while doing so!
  • While in Neutropolis, you can run The Great Escape event. Just make sure that you do not ding past level eighteen while doing so!
  • While in First Ward, you can take on The Seed of Hamidon. Note that a minimum of one team of eight players is strongly recommended for this encounter. Just make sure that you do not ding past level 28 while doing so!
  • While in Night Ward, you can take on repeatable missions from Atherton Cromwell and/or Sir Lionel. Just make sure that you do not ding past level 39 while doing so!

Closing

As of October 2021, I have soloed all Praetorian content on three different characters, found a few undocumented bugs and quirks here and there in the process, and discovered ways around them. That led to my writing this guide, so others can enjoy all the Praetorian content without encountering any issues and enjoy a smooth experience.

I hope that you find this guide helpful. I'm a villain for life, but I will always have a soft spot for Praetoria. Drink Enriche, and hail Emperor Cole!
