Halloween EN.jpg

The Halloween Event is a suite of gaming tasks and visuals that are reminiscent of the Halloween holiday season. This includes Trick or Treating, costumes, monsters, ghosts, witches, and horror movie cliches such as a Zombie Apocalypse and mad scientist's monster. Windows on many buildings throughout the game glow green and display Halloween decorations.

The 2022 Event will run from October 4th 2022 to November 1st 2022.

New in 2022

Five new Elite Boss enemies that can spawn while Trick-or-Treating above Level 25.

  • Ancient Vampires
  • Spectral Werewolves
  • Arisen Mummies
  • Crone Matriarchs
  • Hollow Reapers

They reward five times the influence and experience when defeated, progress towards the classic Trick-or-Treat defeat badges, as well as new defeat badges for five defeats each.

You have defeated 5 ancient vampires, the eldest of the vampires in the ancestral lineage of those who thirst for blood in the darkness.

You have defeated 5 spectral werewolves, lycanthropic beasts who embraced undeath in order to become one with the night eternal.

You have defeated 5 arisen mummies, ancient embalmed zombies who had returned to life to seek their vengeance against tomb robbers.

You have defeated 5 crone matriarchs, these ancient witches lead the Coven from the deep shadows, practicing forbidden sorcery unseen by the world.

You have defeated 5 hollow reapers, the highest ranking members of the Unseelie Court who invade our world when the spirit realm is at its closest.

Each of the five badges above will also reward 2 Prismatic Aether Particle salvage when earned.

All currently available Tier 1 prestige costumes from Benevolabs have had Halloween temporary power versions added that drop from the event and are also sold by the Halloween salvage vendors. Halloween salvage vendors now offer the Fir Bolg prestige costume reward for 10 Prismatic Aether Particles and 50 of each Halloween salvage type. This costume will be available each year for the duration of October.

Deadly Apocalypse

Main Article: Deadly Apocalypse

The Deadly Apocalypse is a type of zone invasion introduced in the Halloween Event of 2009. Haunting Banners representing iconic horrors appear in a zone and are protected by foes that embody that banner's horror. Players must attack the defenders and then the Banners and then finally a Giant Monster. Rewards include badges and a selection of temporary powers.

Eternal Night

The Eternal Night state is only active for the first and last weeks of the event. When active the entire game is locked in nighttime mode. This is not just a visual effect, all aspects of the game that depend on a day/night cycle are locked to the night side during the event. Enemies that only spawn at night spawn continuously during the event. Banisher, The Slayer, and Haunted badges (Hero side) and Pirate and Spectral badges (Villain side) are examples of badges for which hunting will be much easier during the event.

Note that some zones, such as Cimerora, The Hive and The Abyss are unaffected by Eternal Night.
